Yamaha SEC Racing Team delivered one of its strongest performances of the season at MOTOIR Round 3, collecting victories, podium finishes, and competitive results across multiple categories. More than a successful race weekend, the event highlighted the depth of Yamaha’s racing program, with veteran racers, emerging talents, and BLU CRU riders all contributing to the team’s overall success.
Yamaha Controls the Open GP Field

Leading the charge was McKinley Kyle Paz, who secured victories in both the Open GP Sprint Race and the Super Underbone Open GP Expert category. Consistently among the fastest riders throughout the weekend, Paz converted strong qualifying performances into race wins and reinforced his position among the country’s leading motorcycle racers.
April King Mascardo followed with runner-up finishes in both Open GP races, while Timothy Rojas completed an all-Yamaha Expert podium in the main Open GP race with a third-place finish.
In the Intermediate division, JM Malonzo claimed victory, completing a Yamaha sweep across both Expert and Intermediate classifications.
Mascardo Continues Strong Form

Mascardo added another victory to Yamaha’s tally by winning the Super Underbone LTD GP category. Combined with his pair of runner-up finishes in Open GP competition, the result further demonstrated his consistency across multiple classes and his growing contribution to Yamaha’s 2026 campaign.
Rojas Returns to the Podium

Round 3 also marked an important milestone for Timothy Rojas, who returned to competition after missing Round 2 while recovering from injuries sustained earlier in the season.
Following months of rehabilitation and preparation, Rojas quickly re-established himself among the front-runners with a podium finish in the Super Underbone Open GP Expert category.
BLU CRU Riders Impress in Supersport 200

Yamaha also made its first Supersport 200 appearance of the season, providing an opportunity for its BLU CRU rider development program to take center stage.
Moses ‘Moy’ Reyes and Zain Doblada delivered immediate results with second- and third-place finishes, respectively. Their podium performances highlighted Yamaha’s continued investment in developing young racing talent through structured training and competition.
Tolentino Adds Another Podium

In the Superbike Women’s Championship, Justinne Bethany Tolentino continued Yamaha’s strong weekend by securing a podium finish after battling among the category’s leading competitors. Her result added to the team’s growing collection of podium finishes across the event.
Strength Across the Grid

While individual victories often attract the spotlight, Yamaha’s performance at MOTOIR Round 3 demonstrated the strength of its overall racing ecosystem. From established champions and returning riders to developing talents and BLU CRU graduates, Yamaha’s success was built on rider development, preparation, and consistency across multiple categories.
As the season progresses, Yamaha Philippines Racing Team remains focused on maintaining momentum and delivering results across the championship.
