Manfrotto, together with its new Philippine distributor ThinkDharma, Inc., recently launched its newest range of tripods: the Befree and the 190 Series.
Manfrotto Befree
The new Befree tripod makes it easy for you to carry it around and stuff into your luggage, standing only 15.7in tall in its most compact form for storage. It weighs only 1.4kg. The Befree tripod can also be lowered down to 14.63in. for you to be able to use it efficiently when capturing low-angle shots.
It comes with leg angle selectors that allow two types of inclinations. The tripod can carry up to 4kg, thanks to its specially designed aluminum ball head, which means you will have no trouble ensuring stability and sturdiness even when long, bulky lenses are attached to your camera. The Befree sells locally for PHP 11,590.
Manfrotto 190 Series
The features that are common among all of Manfrotto’s new 190 Series tripods include Quick Power Lock, a new vertical-horizontal column mechanism, Easy Link, a 360-degree rotating bubble level indicator, and new leg angle selectors.
Quick Power Lock levers on the legs provide a solid locking grip. Easy Link, meanwhile, is an attachment in the top casting, which allows the tripod to expand the shooting holding accessories, such as a LED light or a reflector.
The 190 series includes tripods with three (MT190CXPRO3) and four (MT190CXPRO4) section carbon fiber legs for extra stability, as well as three (MT190XPRO3) and four (MT190XPRO4) section aluminum legs.
