Set your compass and prepare to navigate on an exciting voyage of learning and innovation
as the Entrepreneurial Students Society (ESS) of the Polytechnic University of the
Philippines (PUP)-Main Campus hosts “Uncharted Waters: Sailing in Your Entrepreneurial
Journey.” The event will take place on November 18, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM via
Microsoft Teams.
The event welcomes first-year Entrepreneurship students as well as newly transferred,
shifted, and returning students to celebrate their arrival and connect with their peers. It
provides a chance for freshmen to form friendships with their co-Entrepreneur and begin
building a supportive network within the program. Freshmen will also be introduced to the
college, its organizations, and the university through motivational talks and interactive
activities. The sessions are designed to inspire and give practical insights into
entrepreneurship.
The event is organized by the Entrepreneurial Students Society (ESS)—a diverse academic
organization dedicated to cultivating innovation, leadership, and collaboration among PUP
Entrepreneurship students. ESS has long been dedicated to helping student entrepreneurs
grow by offering activities that turn classroom lessons into real-world experience, preparing
its members to succeed in today’s ever-changing business world.
Participants can look forward to motivational talks from guest speakers and successful PUP
student entrepreneurs, interactive discussions about the program, the college, the university,
and as well as the introduction of the organizations in the Department of Entrepreneurship.
There will also be games, social media challenges, and networking opportunities that will
make the virtual experience lively and community-driven.
Each segment of the program was crafted to empower students to think creatively, act
strategically, and pursue innovation even amid uncertainty—just like sailors charting their
course through unknown seas.

By the end of Uncharted Waters: Sailing in Your Entrepreneurial Journey, participants will
not only feel more at home within the PUP community but also more equipped to take the
first bold step toward becoming future entrepreneurs.
