The annual celebration of architectural excellence returns once again with the 15th National Architecture Symposium: Echoing Brilliance, organized by the Architecture Network (ARCHINET) as a celebration of its 20 years of legacy and distinction. This convergence of insight, knowledge, and discussions of more than 600 forward-thinkers will be held on May 2, 2026, at the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes O.P. Building on the campus of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila.
The Symposium presents an incredible roster of renowned professionals in the field of
architecture and design which include: Ar. Abelardo Tolentino (Aidea Inc.), Ar. Saul Kim (Saul Kim Studio), Ar. Fumihiko Sano (Fumihiko Sano Studio), and Ar. Hua Li (Trace Architecture Office).
The speakers each have varied expertise in multiple fields, providing new and creative solutions that continue to innovate the architectural industry. Visionary designers continue to redefine the architectural landscape; such as Saul Kim, who creates forms that shift realities and shape speculative spaces, and Fumihiko Sano, who rediscovers the essences of places using artisanal art as an avenue of design.
Trailblazers and established individuals in the field who have made a legacy in the industry, such as Abelardo M. Tolentino Jr., who founded one of the largest firms in the world, Aidea Inc., and is leading the Philippine architectural industry in BIM software in design, and Hua Li, who formed Trace Architecture Office (TAO) and created a philosophy of respecting space and cultural context in conjunction with producing dignified forms. These renowned professionals, and many more, are soon to converge into the Philippine scene with this coming NAS 2026.
The Architecture Network (ARCHINET) is a non-profit student organization recognized by the College of Architecture of the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines. Every year, Archinet plans events to bring outside ideas in and network students and professionals with the various avant-garde concepts of architecture. The culminating event is the annual National Architecture Symposium, where students and professionals from around the country participate and meet at this remarkable event to gain a novel perspective on the profession.
