Zero Latency VR, the global operator of the world’s largest location-based VR network, is set to open its first Philippine venue at Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati at the end of July 2026. The venue will be located at the Cinema Lobby on Level 4, and is being brought to the country by local partner Third Culture Entertainment, the group behind Film Concerts PH.
The concept differs from the VR headset experiences most people may have tried before. Zero Latency operates large-scale wireless arenas where groups of up to six players can move freely through a shared virtual world simultaneously, without being tethered to a station or chair. Sessions run about 30 minutes and are designed around co-op and competitive gameplay.
Mikhail Schemm, founder and CEO of Third Culture Entertainment, said: “Confirming Ayala Malls Circuit as our first location, with a planned end-of-July opening, is a huge milestone for us. This has been in the works for months. The strong connection to entertainment, gaming, social experiences, and beloved IP is something we really want to build on as we expand into new entertainment formats in the country. We can’t wait to throw the doors open and let people experience free-roam VR for themselves. It’s unlike anything else in the country so far.”

What’s on the lineup
At launch, the Makati venue will carry Zero Latency’s full roster of original titles: Outbreak, Outbreak 2: Mall Mayhem, Haunted, and Undead Arena. These are the brand’s flagship experiences, built around co-op action, cinematic tension, and full-body movement in zombie-filled, horror-themed environments.
On top of those, two licensed AAA titles will also be available from day one: Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine VR – Defenders of Avarax. Two more high-profile titles are expected to follow once their global rollouts are complete: Jumanji and Cyberpunk 2077, though no confirmed local release dates have been announced for either.

Built for groups
The venue is set up to handle two groups simultaneously, each with up to six players, for a total capacity of 12 at any given time. From opening day, Zero Latency VR Makati will be available for private and group bookings, covering birthday celebrations, barkada outings, school excursions, team-building events, and corporate hires.
The format lends itself well to that kind of social outing. Unlike most entertainment venues where people sit side by side and watch the same thing, free-roam VR puts everyone inside the same world, moving around each other, working together, or competing, which tends to make for a more memorable shared experience.
Ticketing details and the confirmed opening date will be announced in the weeks ahead. Follow @zerolatencyvr.makati on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for updates.
