GCash Tap to Pay is the platform’s contactless payment feature that allows users to pay in stores by simply tapping their NFC-enabled Android smartphones on supported payment terminals.
The feature eliminates the need for cash, cards, or QR code scanning, offering a faster and more seamless checkout experience for users on the go.
The service is designed to make activities such as family meals, movie dates, shopping trips, and wellness outings feel smoother and more convenient during busy mall days.
Rewards for every qualifying tap
Under the “Tap it, Win it!” promo, users earn raffle entries for every minimum spend of PHP350 using GCash Tap to Pay at participating Ayala Malls from May 7 to June 21, 2026.
One grand prize winner will take home a hybrid BYD Seal 5 DM-i, while other winners can receive up to PHP100,000 in GCash credits.
The promo is available to verified GCash users with NFC-enabled Android smartphones.
How to activate Tap to Pay
GCash says users can activate Tap to Pay directly within the app by selecting the Tap to Pay icon on the dashboard and enabling NFC through their smartphone settings.
To join the promo, users must register through the “Tap It to Win It” promo card accessible via the GCash dashboard or GDeals section.
