Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) officially introduced Tetsuya Fujita, replacing Noboru Murakami as president of the company. Apart from welcoming IPC’s new president, the ceremony also served as an avenue for the outgoing president Murakami to express his gratitude for the support he received during his term. He also expressed his confidence that Fujita’s leadership skills will further drive the company to new heights.
Working for Isuzu Motors Limited (IML) since 1991, Fujita has extensive experience in sales and operations. Some of his international experiences include being the corporate planning manager at Isuzu Commercial Truck of America (ICTA) in California, USA from 2005 to 2010; general manager for the Sales Department of Isuzu Motors International Operations Thailand (IMIT) in Bangkok, Thailand from 2014 to 2017; and the chairman & CEO of Isuzu Motors de Mexico from 2020 to 2021.
With his broad involvement in international sales and operations, Fujita accepted the challenge of maintaining IPC’s long reign as the Number One truck brand in the country. He intends to do this by continuing to expand and improve the dealer network and maintaining IPC’s strong relationship with customers by contributing significantly to their business. He also promised to keep steering the company towards a more sustainable and greener path by further cultivating the Road to Progress vision that Murakami kicked off during his term.
New IPC president Fujita stated, “As the leading truck brand in the industry, we will continue innovating new products that will assist in the progress of the country while displaying more responsibility to the society and the environment through our Road to Progress vision.”
