Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) earned two honors at the 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, receiving recognition for communication initiatives in corporate social responsibility and government relations.
The Philippine Quill Awards, organized by the International Association of Business Communicators, recognizes communication programs and professionals based on effectiveness, strategic execution, and impact. MMPC’s winning entries focused on workforce development and stakeholder engagement within the Philippine automotive industry.
DRIVE earns Excellence Award
MMPC’s “DRIVE: Developing Ready Industry Vehicle Experts” received an Excellence Award under the Corporate Social Responsibility category.
The program highlights MMPC’s OJT Technician Program, which centers on learning and skills development for automotive students while creating pathways to dealership employment. The initiative is designed to strengthen the pipeline of trained technicians entering the automotive sector and help prepare students for real-world work environments.

HEV initiative receives Merit Award
MMPC also received a Merit Award under the Government Relations and Public Affairs category for “Two Roads, One Destination: Paving the Way for Local HEV Manufacturing in the Philippines.”
The program focused on stakeholder communication and engagement connected to the opening of MMPC’s electrification chapter and efforts surrounding local hybrid electric vehicle manufacturing.
