Honda’s newest race-inspired performance bike is the ultimate companion from track day thrills to everyday commuting.

Get ready as Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, introduces another super sports bike that will make anyone’s head turn: The all-new CBR650R (2022 Year Model).

Featuring promising features from performance to styling, it also packs a punch in terms of sporty performance, beginning from its liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 16-valve, DOHC Inline 4-Cylinder engine. Additionally, its latest 2022 model highlights an exciting Euro 5 compliant, which focuses on enhancing both its electronics and engine. With its maximum power output of 70.0kW @12,000rpm and maximum torque of 63.0Nm @9,500rpm, users will also greatly enjoy its do-it-all character with inline-four engines with a strong mid-range and a zip of top end. It also comes with Assist/Slipper clutch, which allows shifts with little effort on the lever and keeps the wheel on the ground even on the most rapid downshifts.

Another feature that will topple its rivals is the incredible handling qualities, powered by through fine-tuned front and rear suspension settings, 41mm SFF-BP USD Front Forks (Showa) for a supple ride, while the braking system is handled by front dual 310mm x 4.5 mm disc with Nissin radial-mount four-piston calipers and a 240mm x 5mm disc with single-piston caliper at the rear, made in Steel Diamond Frame Type and 2-Channel ABS.

Looking at its all angles, the all-new CBR650R is nothing but an allure of dynamism, as the added brighter headlights offer visibility on the go. Another feature is its full-LED lighting system for an even stronger beam, which helps the rider cut through dark areas. Further, the negative-display LCD meter panel offers visibility with advanced information like gear position, digital speedometer, fuel consumption, water temp gauge, and shift-up indicator to keep the rider on the go.

The Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) technology is a helpful feature to keep the rider doubly safe on the road. It detects sudden braking, or if there’s a need to stop unexpectedly, it automatically activates the hazard lamp, which flashes at high speed to warn any nearby vehicles.

Moreover, it has a decidedly powerful Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for traction control on slippery surfaces or during aggressive riding conditions by allowing the system to adjust its engine power to optimize torque at the rear wheel, minimizing slip.

The all-new CBR650R not just boasts the ideal blend of sporty performance and everyday versatility, this model is also an inviting on-road touring companion. Along with its aggressive-inspired bodywork, a strong dose of CBR sporting intent, this muscular machine is also an expressway-legal bike, making it more well-built and poised enough for weekend fun.

With elegant curves gorgeous in the lustrous, rich red of the famous Grand Prix, The All-New CBR650R is truly bold and aggressive in Grand Prix Red. It is also available in equally magnificent Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic color. Its sharper, super sports image makes it a powerful track-day middleweight guaranteed to provide the ultimate racing experience!

A stress-free and smooth ride, anytime, anywhere with the all-new CBR650R

After a week’s worth of hard work, men deserve some time for themselves — a time to relax and rest the mind and soul. And owning a motorcycle, like the all-new CBR650R, is an investment that provides a balance of fun and thrill, especially when a long weekend ride is in order!

According to the latest statistics, 6 million men suffer from depression each year as they’re also less likely to seek help than women. Health practitioners recommend and encourage developing daily habits that address stress, with riding motorcycles as one of those great natural therapies. From the benefit of being in the great outdoors to boosting one’s social circle, there’s surely a lot to be gained in owning a motorcycle that’s a breeze to use.

According to a study conducted by neuroscientist Dr. Don Vaughn and published in Brain Research, riding a motorcycle increases sensory focus and improves resilience to distraction. It also increases adrenaline levels and heart rate and decreases cortisol, the stress hormone. The result highlights that riding a motorcycle decreased hormonal biomarkers of stress by 25%. The sensory focus was also enhanced while riding, and the brain activity suggested an increase in alertness similar to drinking a cup of coffee. While coffee is a default, nothing compares to the joy and excitement a weekend ride can bring. Not only do they get to satisfy their hunger for speed, but they also get to spend time with a solid team that gives them the mental and emotional support they need. With all these benefits a busy, modern urbanite craves, the all-new CBR650R might be just the ticket to kick off the weekend long-ride habit. Available at all Honda Flagship Stores Nationwide beginning February 15, with an SRP of PHP530,000.
