The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is committed to making mobility and motorcycle ownership more accessible to Filipinos by offering various BPI Motorcycle Loans that provide affordable and flexible financing, including its BPI 5-6-7 Motor-Sulit Promo.

Motorcycle ownership in the Philippines has seen significant growth, driven by the rise of ride-hailing services, e-commerce, and the food delivery industry. Motorcycles offer advantages,  such as ease in navigating traffic and fuel efficiency.

“Motorcycles have profoundly impacted the lives of many Filipinos, providing essential livelihoods and improving daily commutes. For many, owning a motorcycle is a lifeline, offering freedom and economic opportunity. The BPI 5-6-7 Motor-Sulit Promo makes this dream attainable by providing accessible and affordable financing, and empowering individuals to enhance their quality of life and unlock new possibilities,” said Dexter Lloyd Cuajotor, head of Retail Lending and Bancassurance at BPI.

The new BPI 5-6-7 Motor-Sulit Promo offers a PHP500 discount on monthly amortization for a 12-month loan term, PHP600 for a 24-month loan term, and PHP700 for a 36-month loan term.

With a minimum loan amount of PHP65,000, the promo is available for brand new motorcycle units from Premiumbikes/Summit Superbikes dealerships nationwide, with flexible payment terms of 12, 24, and 36 months.

The promo runs up to December 31, 2024, for regular motorcycle loan applications made online, at BPI branches or partner stores, or through Premiumbikes/Summit Superbikes dealers. Applications received within the promo period and booked on or before January 31, 2025, will qualify.

Through this program, BPI seeks to boost the share of motorcycle loans in its total motoring portfolio, further supporting greater mobility for Filipinos and enhancing their quality of life.

This aligns with a report by SEAsia Stats, which said that, by end of 2024, motorcycle ownership is projected to rise in the region, with the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association forecasting a two percent sales increase based on 2023 ASEAN market performance.
