After hitting several milestones last 2015, Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. welcomed 2016 with a bang as they joined Cebuanos in celebrating the Sinulog Festival. Dedicated to Santo Niño, the city’s patron saint, the festivities were filled with activities that entertained young and old, locals and tourists, alike.
Yamaha was also part of the Sinulog Queen Coronation Night where they dubbed the stunning and exhilarating Cynthia Thomalia as Sinulog’s “Rev Queen.” The award is given to the individual who best personifies Yamaha’s brand of revving hearts.
After the awards ceremony, Yamaha held the Rev Party. Hosted by Rico Robles and Phoebe Fernandez, more than 20,000 people were able to enjoy the beats presented by DJ Patty Tiu and Bamboo. Meanwhile, the Yamaha Float was paraded across the city throughout the day, headlined by the automatic Mio i 125. An estimated 3.5-million people were able to view the scooter as it completed its 6 km procession.
Yamaha promises to keep the rest of the year as exciting as the way they opened it. For more information, visit www.yamaha-motor.com.ph.
