For the Yamaha PH racing team, Round 5 of the ARRC last September 13-15 at the Petronas International Circuit in Malaysia had an exciting conclusion.

For the Yamaha Tekhne Racing Team Asia and McKinley Kyle Paz, they continue their quest to be at the top of the team standings. The consistency of Paz has seen him score points in different races with his top performance coming in 3rd place at the Chang International Circuit, Thailand.

Although he has yet to repeat that feat since then, he was closest this weekend. 7th on the grid, “The WonderBoy” almost returned to the podium in Race 2 with a 4th-place finish. It wasn’t an easy feat for Paz as he has pushed himself all season long to perform at the highest level. His dedication to his craft showed with his continued dominance in national races, which made him sharper for a higher level of competition in international competition. They are now just 7pts behind the top team in the standings and will look to be the best team in the final round of the season.

The UMA MMR Yamaha PH Racing Team continues to miss April King Mascardo, who is still recovering from his injury. This leaves Gian Carlo Mauricio alone on the grid. “The Flash” put up a gallant stand after starting from 16th place and finishing 7th in Race 1 to earn his team valuable points.

The last stand of the Yamaha PH Racing Team will be on December 6-8 at the Chang International Circuit, Thailand. The possible return of Mascardo may just be what the teams need for a big finish to their racing season.
