Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. became part of the first-ever Philippine Sports Expo, which was held in the Crystal Pavilion at Okada Manila. The Yamaha Philippines Racing team would be the main attraction for the brand as they stood alongside the top athletes in the nation.

Coming off the most recent round of the Asia Road Racing Championship were riders April King Mascardo and Gian Carlo Mauricio of the UMA MMR Yamaha Racing Team. They are joined by the Japan Leg Race 2 Champion, the Hitman, J.E. Inguito. And McKinley Kyle Paz joined in via zoom from Portugal where he is currently competing in the 4th round of the FIM JRGP European Championships.

Yamaha has been developing Filipino Motorsports athletes for more than a decade now. It started cultivating riders with a grass roots program that gave an avenue for Filipinos to compete and elevate their skills. Then, they further developed the potential of key individuals and took them to the next level. Today their roster of international riders is representing the Philippines in top global races.

The Philippines is one step closer to the European World Championship which is the next step in their development plan. That is due to the hard work of the Yamaha Philippine Racing Team and all its partners who are at the forefront of the Race your Flag Campaign.

It is almost certain that you will see more of Yamaha in Filipino Sporting events such as these because it not only aims to elevate riders but also the motorsports industry as a whole. Providing another avenue to give pride to the Philippines.
