Round 4 of the ARRC continued at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Indonesia last July 26-28. The difficulties continued for the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team, and they are still missing April King Mascardo on the grid who is still recovering from his injury.

Gian Carlo Mauricio did his best to represent the country in the absence of his partner but fell short in both races. He finished in 18th and 11th place respectively. “The Flash” remains motivated to show his true abilities after being the race champion back in round 2 at the Zhuhai, International Circuit in China.

McKinley Kyle Paz earned his best finish since winning 3rd place in Thailand with a 7th place finish in race 2. This was also a positive showing after placing 12th in Race 1 and keeps the Yamaha Tekhne Racing Team Asia number one in the team standings. He also welcomed back his teammate Apiwat Wongthananon who was out in the previous race. Being an icon for Filipino racing as a trailblazer, “The Wonderboy” has been in tougher situations and will undoubtedly figure out a way to return on the podium.

After a challenging series of races for the Yamaha Philippines Racing Team, they have another chance to turn things around and return to form when they head to Malaysia for round 5 of the ARRC at the Sepang International Circuit on September 13-15.
