After a disappointing performance in Japan, UMA Yamaha Philippines riders were able to bounce back in China at the fifth round of the Asia Road Racing Championship.
Riders Mckinley Kyle Paz and Fernando Masato both finished race one on the podium with Paz taking the top spot and Masato finishing second.
The second race saw the drivers slipping to the middle of the pack, finishing 5th and 6th respectively.
Despite missing the podium in the second race, UMA Yamaha Philippines was still able to catch up on the leaderboard moving from 5th to 3rd with 107 points just six points behind the leader.
Paz, on the other hand, was able to reclaim the top of the driver’s leader board with 95 points. While Masato moved up to fourth overall with 72 points. Both drivers have momentum going back to Malaysia in September.
