Mazda PH launches AutoExe Customization Program

Mazda Philippines is now officially an authorized distributor of AutoExe tuning parts and accessories. The partnership, formalized at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), exemplifies Mazda Philippines’ commitment to deliver a customer-centric approach that goes beyond the norm. At PIMS, a wide range of AutoExe parts were fitted onto the Mazda3, CX-60, and MX-5, showcasing the personalization potential of these Mazda vehicles.

“We are proud to be carrying AutoExe parts and accessories as an authorized distributor,” says Steven Tan, president of Mazda Philippines. “Since we soft-launched AutoExe last March with the MX-5, there has been an overwhelmingly positive response from our customers. We have made the decision to expand the AutoExe parts catalog to cover the Mazda3 and CX-60 as well.”

Initially, a total of 67 AutoExe parts — 10 for the Mazda3, 20 for the CX-60, and 37 for the MX-5 — are available. These parts are generally divided into eight categories: Exterior, Interior, Body, Suspension, Intake & Exhaust, Brakes, Drivetrain, and Utility. Mazda Philippines will study to expand the availability of more parts and models soon.

“Our decision to offer factory-installed AutoExe parts to new and existing Mazda customers is part of our commitment to become a premium brand. Luxury has gone beyond just offering high-quality finishes and a refined drive. Personalization is also seen as a luxury, and this is a trend we see not just in the automotive industry, but all around,” continues Steven Tan.

At the 9th PIMS, AutoExe representatives led by Yuuichiro Ohtomi (executive managing director), Shingo Soma (general manager), and Yuki Sakurai (marketing department) formally unveiled the Mazda3, CX-60, and MX-5 fitted with AutoExe parts, officially commencing their partnership with Mazda Philippines.

Founded in 1997, AutoExe is a tuning company and parts maker specializing in Mazda vehicles. It was founded by former Mazda works driver Yojiro Terada. Known as “Mr. Le Mans,” Terada-san has had 29 appearances — the most for a Japanese driver — at the world-famous endurance race. With his racing experience, he has treated the Circuit de la Sarthe, where the race is held annually, as a development ground.

Since Le Mans is held on general roads, AutoExe parts are not simply for flashy appearances nor are they limited to circuit use. Instead, they are parts and accessories developed with street or daily use in mind. AutoExe takes great pride in crafting parts and accessories that improve driving performance without hindering practicality or comfort. In addition, they develop parts with a holistic approach.

“The typical approach in aftermarket would be to specialize in one aspect, say mufflers or brakes. In other words, they are specialists in just one component,” says Terada. “On the other hand, AutoExe specializes in complete cars. Our goal during parts development is to achieve the level of refinement or polish as you would in a new variant or grade. We enhance performance in a well-balanced manner.”

AutoExe’s tuning concept is to bring out the full potential of Mazda’s Jinba-Ittai philosophy (oneness of man and machine) based on technology and know-how gained at racing in Le Mans. This is done by optimizing a vehicle’s transient handling characteristics, taking into account factors such as performance as well as reliability, durability, and comfort.

“Transient characteristics refer to the movement of a vehicle — in a forward-backward (acceleration and deceleration) and side-to-side (pitch and roll) motion. If a car reacts too quickly, like a purpose-built track car, it feels nervous, making it scary. If it’s too slow, it becomes dull, making it not enjoyable to drive. We aim to optimize the different characteristics to find the balance that sharpens the level of Jinba-Ittai that enthusiasts can immediately feel.”

AutoExe parts are available for order at all Mazda dealerships nationwide. Since they are designed in close collaboration with Mazda, they will not void a vehicle’s warranty when purchased and installed at authorized Mazda dealerships. They also carry a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Commemorating the partnership between Mazda Philippines and AutoExe, all orders for AutoExe parts placed on or before December 31, 2024, will be entitled to a 10% discount.

For more information, Mazda customers can visit Mazda Makati and Mazda C-5 Pasig—the first two AutoExe Performance Parts Centers in the country. Customers may also check the official website at mazda.ph

There are 14 Mazda 3S dealerships located across the Philippines and Metro Manila: Mazda C-5 Pasig, Mazda Quezon Avenue, Mazda Makati, Mazda Alabang, Mazda Sta. Rosa, Mazda Pampanga, Mazda Dagupan, Mazda Cabanatuan, Mazda Tarlac, Mazda Cebu, Mazda Iloilo, Mazda Bacolod, Mazda Cagayan De Oro, and Mazda Davao

Acer ambassadors SB19 and G22 take Taiwan by storm

Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin of SB19 and AJ, Alfea, and Jaz of G22 were in Taiwan as part of their activities as Acer ambassadors for the Philippines. Acer awarded special honorary employee titles to both groups to express gratitude for their contribution to promoting the brand in the Philippine market.

While in Taiwan, SB19 also guested as mentors in “Atom Boyz 2,” an idol survival show. SB19 visited the Shilin Night Market with He Yankai, Huang Chongjun, and Li Jiahao. The three idols took SB19 to taste classic Taiwanese delicacies such as candied haws, chicken cake, stinky tofu, and sweet potato balls and played games in the night market.

G22 will also make an appearance in “Atom Boyz 2.” The group is also scheduled to perform in “Super Entourage,” a variety show hosted by the father-daughter duo Jacky and Sandy Wu. Jacky Wu is a Taiwanese TV show host and singer.

“The visit of SB19 and G22 to Taiwan was a huge success, showing how limitless their potential is. Their songs and popularity have reached other countries too. We are very proud to have them as our ambassadors,” said Sue Ong Lim, managing director of Acer Philippines.

“One of the reasons why our ambassadors visited Taiwan is for a very special project coming out soon. Please expect big things from us this holiday season,” said Princess Laosantos, Senior Marketing Manager of Acer Philippines.

Known as the “Kings of P-pop,” Pablo of SB19 collaborated with G22 for a stirring rendition of “Limitless,” the theme song for Acer Day 2024, held last August. The song talks about an individual’s limitless potential.

According to the latest market research data, Acer secured a 36% market share in the Philippine personal computer market in August, maintaining its leading position. From January to August this year, Acer accumulated a total market share of 32%, firmly holding the top spot and demonstrating strong market competitiveness. Additionally, Acer’s notebook computers performed remarkably well, achieving nearly a 40% market share in August, highlighting Acer’s leadership in the Philippine computer market.

SMC Infrastructure bares tollway preparations for ‘Undas’ holidays

In anticipation of increased traffic volume during the Undas holidays, SMC Infrastructure — operator of SLEX, STAR Tollway, Skyway System, NAIA Expressway, and TPLEX — is implementing comprehensive measures to ensure the safe and efficient travel of motorists.

This includes close coordination with the Toll Regulatory Board, local government units, and other relevant agencies to optimize traffic flow.

“Our toll operations teams have prepared for the expected surge in traffic volume at our expressways starting Thursday, Oct. 31. Emergency services such as fire trucks, ambulances, and tow trucks are already on standby to provide immediate assistance to distressed motorists,” the company said.

“We appeal to our motorists to make sure their vehicles are in good condition prior to traveling, so they can avoid any mishaps or cause delay for others,” it added.

The company will impose a moratorium on roadworks, including maintenance and other related activities that may impede the flow of vehicular traffic, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 5.

Additional personnel will be deployed to help manage traffic bottlenecks, including at entry and exit toll plazas that connect local roads to expressways.

    SMC Infrastructure

To further minimize possible causes of delays at the tollways, SMC Infrastructure is reminding motorists to make sure their Autosweep accounts have sufficient load. Their cards must be ready in their vehicles should these be needed.

The company reiterated its appeal for motorists to update their account information, particularly those who have Autosweep-To-Go accounts via the Autosweep website, www.autosweeprfid.com/v4/web, where they simply need to enter their correct details.

    SMC Infrastructure

To pass through toll plazas more quickly, SMC Infrastructure advises motorists to avoid tailgating so that RFID readers can scan the Autosweep tags properly. Also, RFID stickers should be clean and not defective. If needed, these may be replaced for free at various toll plazas.

On road safety, motorists are reminded to ensure that their vehicles are roadworthy and that they observe all traffic rules at all times, especially speed limits and the wearing of seatbelts.

Should motorists encounter emergencies or vehicle trouble, they should slow down to a stop at lay-bys, or seek assistance at select Petron stations.

For emergency assistance at the expressways, call:

    • SLEX Hotline: 09176877539
    • TPLEX Hotline: 09178880715

Sun Life Financial-Philippines Foundation, Inc. (Sun Life Foundation) reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability with recent back-to-back tree planting activities, organized in coordination with the Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST).

The initiative was supported by over 200 Sun Life volunteers, including Sun Life Philippines’s Chief Asset  Management officer and Foundation Trustee Valerie Pama, and Chief Human Resources officer Michelle Cordero-Garcia. Together, they planted a total of 3,000 seedlings at the DENR Nursery in La Mesa  Watershed.

As the last remaining forest of its size and the only major watershed in Metro Manila, La Mesa helps provide drinking water to the region’s more than 13 million residents. Considered the “lungs” of the metropolis, La Mesa also acts as a carbon sink, absorbing a significant amount of Metro Manila’s carbon emissions.

“It’s crucial to conserve and protect nature, especially here in Metro Manila where pollution, climate change, and monsoon rains greatly impact the quality of life of millions,” said Sun Life Foundation executive director Kristine Millete. “Through annual tree plantings, we hope to help in building a more  sustainable, climate-resilient, and livable city.”

“Each step we take contributes to the greater good. If a small step makes a difference, imagine the impact our concerted effort will have not just in the present but for generations to come,” said Sun Life president Alex Narciso. “We must all work together for a greener and brighter future.”

Microsoft announces Copilot Agents to unlock business efficiency in the PH

Microsoft is at the forefront of digital transformation with the introduction of new autonomous agents designed to revolutionize business processes. This groundbreaking development promises to provide unprecedented support and efficiency for organizations worldwide, including the Philippines.

Currently, 60% of the Fortune 500 are leveraging Microsoft 365 Copilot to accelerate business results and empower their teams. With Copilot, Lumen Technologies projects USD50 million in annual savings, Honeywell equates productivity gains to adding 187 full-time employees, and Finastra has reduced creative production time from seven months to seven weeks. These successes underscore the transformative potential of AI in enhancing productivity and driving growth.

    Introducing New Agentic Capabilities

Building on these gains, Microsoft announces the launch of new agentic capabilities that will bring AI-first business processes to every organization. Starting next month, businesses can create autonomous agents through Copilot Studio, which will be available in public preview. This feature empowers organizations to design, manage, and connect AI agents to Copilot, allowing a seamless integration of AI-powered solutions into their workflows.

In the Philippines, autonomous agents are poised to make a significant impact. The 2024 Work Trend Index reports that 86% of Filipino knowledge workers are already using AI at work, showcasing the country’s leadership in AI adoption. The ability to create and deploy AI agents will empower Filipino businesses to streamline operations, enhance customer service, and improve overall efficiency. Industries such as retail, finance, and customer service stand to benefit greatly from these innovations, automating repetitive tasks and allowing a focus on more strategic initiatives.

Moreover, Microsoft is launching ten new autonomous agents within Dynamics 365, aimed at enhancing the capacity of sales, service, finance, and supply chain teams. These agents represent a shift from legacy business applications to AI-first business processes, providing organizations with a competitive edge in today’s fast-paced market. For example, the Sales Qualification Agent helps sellers prioritize and engage with high-potential leads, while the Supplier Communications Agent optimizes supply chains by autonomously tracking supplier performance and responding to delays.

Earlier this year, Microsoft introduced powerful capabilities within Copilot Studio, including the creation of autonomous agents. With these capabilities now moving from private to public preview, more organizations can harness AI to reimagine critical business processes. Companies like Clifford Chance, McKinsey & Company, Pets at Home, and Thomson Reuters are already leveraging autonomous agents to boost revenue, cut costs, and scale their impact. In the Philippines, local businesses can follow suit, using AI to drive efficiency and innovation.

Commitment to Security and Internal Successes with AI

As AI agents become more prevalent, ensuring robust data governance and security is paramount. Microsoft is committed to maintaining stringent security measures, including data loss prevention and authentication protocols, to protect customer data and ensure compliance. This focus on security and privacy is especially relevant for businesses in the Philippines, where data protection is a critical concern.

Microsoft is also leveraging Copilot and autonomous agents internally to enhance its own business processes. By implementing these AI solutions, one sales team achieved 9.4% higher revenue per seller and closed 20% more deals, one team is resolving customer cases nearly 12% faster, while the marketing team saw a 21.5% increase in conversion rates on Azure.com. And in Human Resources, employee self-service agent is helping answer questions with 42% greater accuracy. These successes demonstrate the potential of AI to drive significant improvements in performance and efficiency.

With Copilot and autonomous agents, the possibilities for innovation and efficiency are endless. Microsoft invites businesses in the Philippines to start building their own agents in Copilot Studio today, reimagining their processes and driving growth with AI. For more information, visit the Copilot Studio and Dynamics 365 blogs, and explore Microsoft’s AI transformation on WorkLab.

Toyota presents Hydrogen Technology and Next Generation Tamaraw to President Marcos

President Marcos expressed his appreciation for Toyota’s continued investment in the Philippines, particularly the recent PHP5.5 billion-investment in the production of the Philippine-made Next Generation Tamaraw, also known regionally as the Toyota Innovative International Multi-Purpose Vehicle (IMV) 0 (Zero). This investment encompasses vehicle production, parts localization, and the establishment of a new in-house vehicle conversion capability, further solidifying TMP’s contributions to sustaining the viability of automotive and parts manufacturing industries in the country and furthermore enabling mobility for all through the easily convertible, Tamaraw.

    • Tamaraw

During the courtesy call of Toyota Motor Asia and TMP’s top officials at the Palace, the mobility leader displayed prototype conversion units of the Tamaraw, demonstrating its versatility and adaptability to the needs of Filipinos. Returning as a light commercial vehicle, TMP presented its aim to revive this iconic model into the next ‘national car’ by catering to specialized conversion needs of various Philippine Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and individuals.

At the same event, President Marcos received a letter of intent from TMP for its planned donation of five Tamaraw units, which will be converted and turned over to the government in 2025. These include five ambulances which will be used to support various mobility needs through the “Lab For All” health program of the First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos.

Reinforcing Toyota’s global commitment to Carbon Neutrality, the company introduced its “Beyond Zero” movement to the government. This corporate initiative supports the Philippine government’s direction toward a clean energy and low carbon economy transition, aligning with key national policies related to the transportation sector such as the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA) and Philippine Energy Plan.

Underscoring its multi-pathway approach to decarbonization, TMP also used the occasion to present the Corolla Cross H2 Concept developed by Toyota GAZOO Racing (TGR) in Japan. This Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle (HICEV) utilized hydrogen gas supplied by a local producer and filled through a Hydrogen Refueling Station (HRS) exclusively imported from an end-use application provider in Malaysia.

“For Toyota’s point of view, we would like to provide the most suitable vehicle technology for the country’s specific energy strategy. Matching multi-pathways with energy, Toyota has many powertrains available and currently being developed,” said Toyota Asia Region chief executive officer Masahiko Maeda.

Recognizing the country’s abundant resources, TMP also emphasized the potential of diversifying energy resources to develop related industries and complement the decarbonization goals of various sectors, including transportation. With Toyota’s widest array of xEV powertrain technologies, hydrogen has the potential to be one of the advanced alternative energy sources that presents the possibility of zero carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

Beyond its commitment to decarbonize the entire vehicle life cycle — from raw materials sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution to recycling cars and batteries — TMP stated it is also diversifying sustainable mobility with xEV usership services and exploring the benefits of data solutions and connected technology for travel or logistic efficiency resulting in CO2 reduction.

Passion for driving pushes Mazda PH at Philippine International Motor Show

Driving is often seen as a mundane exercise, a convenient method of getting from point A to B; but not for the people at Mazda. A car company that is deeply passionate about driving, it is Mazda’s mission to bring a joyful and effortless experience that makes drivers and passengers feel revitalized. This central tenet—Jinba-ittai or the seamless connection between man and machine—is the soul of every Mazda vehicle.

“Each time you get into one of our cars, you celebrate driving enjoyment,” says Steven Tan, president of Mazda Philippines. “Driving represents the freedom to be more, to do more. Unlike other methods of getting around, here, you are the master of your own destiny. Charting our own path is what Mazda has done for over a century and this is why our cars resonate with people so well.”

Designers, engineers, artisans—everyone at Mazda—is devoted by passion, and this becomes the overall theme at the 9thPhilippine International Motor Show (PIMS). Committed to innovation, performance, and exhilaration, Mazda has always pushed the boundaries and charted its own path. Whether powered by internal combustion, hybrid, or pure electric power, Mazda brings precision technology with a dedication to excellence. Nowhere is that more apparent than in the rotary engine.

    Mazda Rotary Heritage

The history of Mazda and the rotary engine is closely intertwined for over 55 years. Lured by the rotary engine’s smoothness and compactness, Mazda used its advanced in-house machining and material knowledge to create the world’s first mass-produced rotary engine in the Cosmo Sport in 1957. In 1973, it was followed with the launch of the legendary first-generation RX-7. Mazda constantly developed the rotary engine, culminating in the #55 Mazda 787B’s 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans victory—the first Japanese manufacturer and only one ever powered by a piston-less engine.

And just as the world thought the rotary engine had no place amidst tightening emissions standards 12 years ago, Mazda brought its iconic engine back as an innovative powertrain in the e-Skyactiv-R in the Mazda MX-30 R-EV. A testament to Mazda’s engineering expertise, the rotary engine now acts as a power generator to the onboard lithium-ion battery helping it achieve a 600-kilometer range. The 830-cc engine is so compact it fits on the same axle as the high output electric motor. Honoring Mazda’s history and balancing tradition, this forward-thinking technology points to a multi-pathway approach to achieve carbon neutrality.

    Philippine Endurance Cup

Aiming to sweep this year’s Philippine Kalayaan Cup Endurance Cup Challenge, a race-optimized version of the #55 Team MSCC Mazda Miata MX-5 is revealed by Angie King. Shown dramatically as an art installation at the Mazda pavilion, it will compete at the upcoming 8-hour Bonifacio Cup on November 24, 2024.

Already proving its reliability and durability as a racing platform, the Team MSCC Mazda Miata MX-5 will use a stock powertrain for the endurance race. Its 184 PS, 205 Nm 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine and 6-speed Skyactiv-Drive manual is the very same powertrain found in the MX-5 sold at all Mazda showrooms nationwide. Striving to push the boundaries of performance and innovation, Angie King focused on lightening the car. With a body made completely of Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (CFRP), its weight has dropped dramatically by 30 percent to just 700 kilograms, lightening the entire mass by approximately 300kg.

    AutoExe Customization Program

After its soft launch early this year, Mazda Philippines is now officially an authorized distributor of AutoExe tuning parts and accessories. The launch of the AutoExe Customization Program for new and current Mazda owners exemplifies Mazda Philippines’ commitment to delivering a customer-centric approach to vehicle ownership. At PIMS, a wide range of parts have been fitted onto the Mazda3, CX-60, and MX-5. These parts are now available for order at any authorized Mazda dealership nationwide. Furthermore, Mazda Philippines will study to expand the availability of more parts and models soon.

As a result, it enhances driving dynamics without sacrificing comfort or hindering practicality. At the 9thPIMS, AutoExe representatives led by Yuuichiro Ohtomi(executive managing director), Shingo Soma (general manager), and Yuki Sakurai (marketing department) attended. Although he could not make it personally, Terada-san delivered a short message to add a personal touch to formally launch AutoExe performance parts in the Philippines

BYD Seal debuts at the 2024 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit: A new era of performance and innovation

ACMobility, the official distributor of BYD electric vehicles in the Philippines, announces the arrival of the BYD Seal as the latest addition to its growing line of New Energy Vehicles. Making its debut at the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit, the BYD Seal is set to redefine electric vehicle performance with its innovative and advanced features, premium amenities, and dynamic performance.

“The launch of the BYD Seal marks an energetic step in our journey towards electrified mobility,” shares Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, CEO of ACMobility. “This performance-driven electric sedan sets new standards for driving pleasure and exemplifies our commitment to introducing electric vehicles that excite the market. Ably supported by our growing electric vehicle charging infrastructure, the BYD Seal is set to elevate the EV driving experience in the Philippines to new heights.”

    Born to Perform

The BYD Seal boasts an impressive profile that delivers the ultimate in electric vehicle performance without sacrificing comfort and practicality. It is powered by a dual-motor system providing all-wheel drive traction with a thrilling combined output of 529 PS and 670 Nm of torque. This enables the BYD Seal to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Its 82.6 kWh Blade Battery pack provides an impressive range of up to 580 km on a single charge, ensuring a dynamic driving experience over great distances.

The BYD Seal is the first BYD electric vehicle in the country that incorporates innovative Cell-to-Body Technology in its construction. This innovation, which is unique to the BYD Seal, makes the Blade battery pack an integrated structural member, enhancing chassis stiffness and contributing to improved handling and responsiveness. With a balanced 50/50 weight distribution, and a low center of gravity, the all-wheel drive BYD Seal offers better control during high-performance driving conditions.

The BYD Seal is also the first in the lineup to introduce Intelligent Torque Adaption Control, or iTAC. This innovative system revolutionizes traction control through fast processing and reaction times, intelligent allocation of drive torque and torque shift, and the application of negative torque output. iTAC avoids the engine lag associated with traditional traction control while enhancing driving performance, overall handling, and safety.

The latest BYD flagship performance sedan is equipped with Frequency Selective Damping shock absorbers that enhance ride quality and stability by adjusting damping characteristics based on road conditions and driving requirements. The dampers enhance the vehicle’s composure on smooth surfaces and performance applications while providing riding comfort on uneven roads. A double-wishbone front and a five-link rear suspension configuration ensure a smoother ride and exceptional handling during spirited runs. While large 344-mm perforated and ventilated rotor discs up front and 317-mm ventilated rotor discs at the back deliver reliable stopping power even under extreme driving conditions.

The BYD Seal is also the fastest-charging model in the lineup, as it introduces 150 kWh DC charging capability ensuring rapid battery charging from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes. With its wide temperature range heat pump that manages the battery pack’s operating parameters and its 12-Volt Lithium Iron Phosphate starter battery, the BYD Seal is set to deliver long exhilarating drives.

“The introduction of the BYD Seal signifies a pivotal moment for BYD as it continues its commitment to advancing electric mobility in the Philippines. The BYD Seal is the electric performance sedan made for drivers who crave speed, desire style and comfort, and demand performance from their electric vehicles,” says Bob Palanca, managing director of BYD Cars Philippines. “The BYD Seal  isn’t just about looking good; it’s about driving one’s passions and connecting with the road while enjoying the comfort and amenities of a modern everyday sedan,” adds Palanca.

    Designed to Electrify

The BYD Seal captivates with its striking design, expertly blending advanced technology and impressive performance. Its bold exterior, defined by the distinctive X-design concept, received the prestigious iF Design Award in 2023. Modern aesthetics are further enhanced by double U-shaped headlights,  signature bumper-mounted LED daytime running lights,  sleek dot matrix tail lights, and 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with 235/45 R19 tires for a standout presence on the road.

The BYD Seal measures 4,800 mm in length, 1,875mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height and has a 2,920 mm wheelbase. Its roomy cabin experience with executive-sedan-sized legroom and space ensures practical everyday usability. With its 50-liter front storage and 400-liter trunk capacity, the BYD Seal Performance also provides convenient  everyday usability.

Inside, the BYD Seal features a sleek cabin with a sophisticated black colorway and race-inspired suede accents. The interior exudes a premium feel with power-adjustable integrated sports seats that are luxuriously upholstered in leather and offer ventilation, heating, and a driver seat memory function. A panoramic glass roof adds natural light to the cabin, enhancing the overall ambiance and perception of space.

The interior is highlighted by two prominent digital displays—a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rotating infotainment system—striking the ideal balance between dynamic style and technology. Equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the infotainment system’s Dynaudio 12-speaker configuration provides a theater-like audio experience.

Packed with advanced technology, the BYD Seal boasts dual 15W wireless chargers to keep mobile phones powered on the go. Safety is a top priority for the BYD Seal. It is equipped with 8 airbags and the DiPilot Advanced Driver Assistance System, which includes  Stop & Go Full-Speed Adaptive Cruise Control,  Predictive Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Detection. A high-definition 360-degree view camera, Heads-up Display, and a radar system with six sensors provide Front and Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Braking functions for extra awareness on the road. This comprehensive suite of safety features has earned the BYD Seal prestigious 5-star Euro NCAP and 5-star ANCAP ratings, showcasing its commitment to safety.

“The launch of the BYD Seal marks a significant milestone in our mission to revolutionize mobility in the Philippines. With its impressive blend of performance, safety, and advanced technology, we are excited to offer drivers an exceptional electric vehicle experience. Together, we’re not just embracing the future of transportation; we’re paving the way for a more sustainable and innovative tomorrow,”  shares Aiffy Liu, country head, BYD Philippines.
