The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines is bringing together more than 2,000 marketers, creatives, technologists, business leaders, and innovators as DigiCon 2026 returns for its 11th edition on October 15–16 at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel.

This year’s theme, “Interoperability: Welcome to the Age of Collaboration,” explores what happens when industries, ideas, technology, and talent work together across an increasingly connected digital landscape.

GLOBAL SPEAKERS AND MULTIPLE SESSION FORMATS

DigiCon 2026 will feature keynote presentations, expert-led panel discussions, interactive experiences, and a live debate designed to encourage cross-disciplinary exchange.

Headlining the conference are Dr. Christian Busch, bestselling author of Connect the Dots and professor at the University of Southern California and the London School of Economics, and Judy John, global chief creative officer of Edelman.

They will be joined by DMAP president Miko David, DigiCon 2026 co-chairs Raymund Sison and Shayne Madamba, and a wider lineup of local and international industry speakers.

NEXT MONDAY EXTENDS THE CONVERSATION

On October 16, DigiCon will also host “Next Monday,” a panel bringing together leaders from major marketing, advertising, and communications organizations.

The discussion will feature Miko David of DMAP, Ronald Barreiro of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines, Robbie Aligada of the Ad Standards Council, and Ana Pista of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines.

Moderated by Shayne Madamba of IdeasXMachina Hakuhodo, the panel will explore how ideas and insights from DigiCon can be translated into practical action across their respective industries.

FIVE TRACKS, ONE COLLABORATIVE FUTURE

The conference will feature five specialized tracks built around different forms of collaboration.

Innovation: Human and Machine Collaborations will look at the relationship between people and emerging technologies, with speakers including Gino Nacianceno and Fe Itamar Gero of TrueLogic, Crissy Rollan of Qubel Group, Bea Lim of TeamAsia, and keynote speaker Masaya Asai, chief creative officer of Droga5 Tokyo.

Integrated: “Breaking the Box” Collaborations brings together speakers from advertising, academia, advocacy, experience design, and sport. The track includes keynotes from Ali Rez of IMPACT BBDO and Yassine Bakkari of L’Oréal Philippines, as well as the first UP vs. ADMU debate in DigiCon history.

Immersive: Seamless Collaborative Experiences features speakers from RS2 APAC, Tonik Bank, Pure Culture, Ayala Land Hospitality, Moving Walls, UnionBank, and IPV Network Inc.

Impact: Hyper-Collaborative Cultures focuses on how teams, communities, and industries can work across boundaries. Speakers include Jordan Santos of Publicis JimenezBasic, Erwin Razon of Hepmil PH, Adam Izen of The One Club for Creativity, Thomas Hongtack Kim of Paulus Seoul, Nicolas Courant of Ogilvy Singapore, and other creators and community leaders.

Interactive: Create, Play, Collaborate includes Pat Del Castillo of GCash, Art Policarpio of Emporia Group, and LOKAL.

MOVING FROM TRENDS TO COLLABORATION

DigiCon 2026 is positioning collaboration as a practical response to the way digital transformation is reshaping industries.

“In today’s fast-moving landscape, no brand, business, or industry moves forward entirely on its own,” said DigiCon 2026 co-chair Raymund Sison.

“The conversations and partnerships we start here have the potential to influence what our industry does next.”

Shayne Madamba added that interoperability is intended to be more than a conference theme.

“We want people to cross disciplines, industries, and perspectives, and leave DigiCon with new connections and ideas they can actually bring back to their organizations.”
