Lazada Philippines is expanding its support for Filipino micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through stronger partnerships with government agencies and the relaunch of LazGrow Together, an initiative designed to help entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses on the Lazada platform.
The program reflects Lazada’s broader strategy of positioning itself not only as an e-commerce marketplace but also as a long-term growth partner for local businesses by providing the tools, guidance, and ecosystem support needed to compete in an increasingly digital economy.
Helping entrepreneurs grow online
Built around the theme “Grow Your Brand on Lazada,” the refreshed LazGrow Together campaign focuses on helping entrepreneurs confidently enter e-commerce while providing ongoing support as their businesses expand.
The initiative is anchored on three pillars:
- encouraging entrepreneurs to begin their digital commerce journey with confidence;
- supporting sellers through onboarding, education, and partner programs; and
- equipping businesses with the tools, insights, and marketplace access needed to achieve sustainable growth.
According to Lazada, the program aims to help sellers “sell right and sell wide,” enabling MSMEs to establish a stronger online presence while building long-term business success.
Expanding partnerships with government

Since October 2025, Lazada Philippines has strengthened its collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Go Negosyo to support MSME development.
Through these partnerships, the company has participated in more than 10 events focused on digital upskilling, marketplace readiness, and seller onboarding. These initiatives have connected Lazada with more than 300 aspiring brands and entrepreneurs, while the DOST network alone represents over 7,000 MSMEs with potential opportunities to join the platform.
To further improve seller readiness, Lazada has also developed practical business tools, including an Excel-based seller calculator that helps entrepreneurs better understand pricing strategies, profit margins, and overall business sustainability in e-commerce. Additional partnership programs are currently being developed as part of the company’s long-term MSME growth agenda.
Building trusted online brands
Lazada said trusted marketplaces play an important role in helping businesses establish brand credibility online.
Through LazMall, consumers can shop from verified brands and official stores, giving businesses an environment where authenticity and customer confidence help strengthen long-term brand equity.
As digital commerce continues to grow across the Philippines, Lazada said it will continue working with government agencies and ecosystem partners to expand opportunities for Filipino entrepreneurs.
“MSMEs drive the Philippine economy, and our responsibility is to ensure they are fully equipped to thrive in the digital arena,” said Carlos Barrera, chief executive officer of Lazada Philippines.
“Through the LazGrow Together initiative and our vital partnerships with key institutions, we are proudly shaping a more inclusive, empowered, and dynamic digital marketplace for Filipino businesses.”
