HitPay, a leading provider of local payment infrastructure in Asia Pacific, and Yuno, a global orchestrator of financial infrastructure, have formed a strategic partnership to simplify payments complexity for international merchants expanding into Asia.

This collaboration integrates Yuno’s core technology that finds the fastest, and most successful path for every payment with HitPay’s deep network of local payment rails, remittance capabilities, and E-Wallets. This unified experience maximizes payment acceptance across dynamic consumer markets in Asia Pacific.

The alliance helps address the complexity of fragmented payment landscapes. Yuno’s global merchants will now gain immediate access to HitPay’s extensive coverage of essential Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) and national schemes, which are crucial for converting more shoppers into paying customers in the region.

    Unlocking local consumer spending

By leveraging HitPay’s local connectivity, Yuno’s merchants can seamlessly accept varying payment methods preferred by consumers in Asia. This includes direct connections to leading E-Wallets like GCash (Philippines), ShopeePay, GrabPay, Touch ‘n Go (Malaysia), and Kakaopay (South Korea).

Furthermore, the integration provides full support for national schemes, facilitating instant bank transfers and QR codes via essential systems such as PayNow (Singapore), QRPH (Philippines), and QRIS (Indonesia).

    Enabling the subscription economy

Furthermore, the integration incorporates HitPay’s advanced recurring billing functionality. This allows Yuno to provide its global merchants with comprehensive subscription and repeat-payment capabilities using the local APMs, supporting the massive growth of SaaS and subscription-based business models across the region.

“The most difficult challenge for global businesses expanding into Asia is local payment compliance and connectivity,” said Aditya Haripurkar, CEO & co-founder, HitPay. “By joining forces with Yuno, we’ve created a single point of integration. This instantly empowers Yuno’s merchants to transact as a local business from day one, translating directly into better acceptance rates and higher sales.”

“In high-growth Asia Pacific markets, accepting local payments is the minimum requirement for success,” said SheueChee Beh, SVP & general manager, Yuno APAC. “Our merchants rely on Yuno to give them ultimate control over their global payment operations. Integrating HitPay’s fast, deep local infrastructure complements our offering in this crucial region, ensuring clients can boost revenue through truly localized checkout experiences while retaining full central control and visibility.”

This partnership underscores the companies’ shared vision to simplify global commerce by connecting international merchants to local payment infrastructure with speed, reliability, and flexibility.
