    ULeague, Union Bank of the Philippines’ (UnionBank) inter-company esports league, is back for Round 2 of its Mobile Legends Charity Clash Tournament.  

    The ULeague Charity Clash Tournament is an online competition featuring the popular game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. It is organized by UnionBank and its partners, the Distributed Ledger Technology Association of the Philippines (DLTAP), Fintech Philippines Association (FPH), UShare and Tech Up Pilipinas Inc.

    Participating companies include fintechs such as DragonPay, coins.ph, Salarium, Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX), PeraHub, Xlog, and JG Summit’s Data Analytics Ventures Inc. (DAVI) as well as UnionBank subsidiaries UBX and City Savings Bank. 

    All participating companies have pledged a donation which will go towards charities with COVID-19 relief campaigns including Caritas Manila. 

    Round 1 of the tournament was held on June 10-11, with the winning team coming from Salarium. 

    Each winner of the rounds will receive a Php 10,000 cash prize and secure a spot to compete in the ULeague Charity Clash Grand Championship. Round 2 of the tournament is scheduled on July 2 and 3.
