With the advent of numerous video streaming services, many of us would really prefer spending free days exploring what they have to offer. Of course, alongside this experience is having a monitor that can take it further. Sony has continuously pushed and set boundaries for an exceptional television viewing experience. Its latest 4K High Dynamic Range (HDR) television series includes unique image processors and display device technologies. Spearheading this range are the Bravia OLED in 65- and 55-inch models.

The new Bravia OLED TVs were released in order “to elevate TV viewing experience and bring reality right in the comfort of your own home,” according to Nobuyoshi Otake, president and managing director of Sony Philippines. Otake also adds that these models are meant to “change the way you view TV.”

    Picture

The OLED display, thanks to the 8 million self-illuminating pixels, is capable of of producing blacks and colors that capture the real world perfectly.  In addition, the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme, the latest in display technology, maximizes viewing experience as it is able to control every pixel from the self-emitting OLED panel resulting in even more beautiful pictures.

    Sound

Although it is not as apparent as picture quality, sound is just as important and valuable. Conventional television models place their speakers typically around the TV. The Bravia OLED has veered away from the typical by coming up with the Acoustic Surface technology. This new sound innovation allows sound to emanate directly from the television screen toward you which produces crisp sound and image synchronization no matter which viewing position you find yourself in.

With sound coming from the screen itself, the space allotted for display is stretched out, without the usual obstruction caused by the speakers, leaving the display border-less. Your focus is on the display itself.

    Design

The Japanese are known for their minimalist aesthetic and Sony has clearly been imbibing this by formulating products of simple and elegant design–for this product, the One Slate mold. The company believes that television can also be appreciated and seen as a work of art when placed anywhere in your home. With this, the design eliminates the usual elements that make up the TV such as the speakers, the bezel and the stand. The OLED display captures everything you need a television to be. No fuss. Just a pure viewing experience.

The new A1E series is an innovation that has made TV viewing experience even more exciting We would not be surprised if you are already keen on getting one for yourself.  The 55-inch model costs PHP 188,899 while the 65-inch model costs PHP 299,999.
