20 sim racers advance to TGR Esports National Finals

Twenty sim racers will compete in the 2026 TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Esports GT Championship National Finals on September 27 at SMX Convention Center Manila. The top 10 Sporting Class and top 10 Junior Class qualifiers emerged from more than 400 participants nationwide, with class champions earning PHP100,000 and slots in the Asia Finals.

Cebu Pacific scales enterprise AI with Thinking Machines and OpenAI

Cebu Pacific is working with Thinking Machines Data Science and OpenAI to scale enterprise AI across the airline, using ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI APIs, and risk-based governance to redesign workflows. Early results include faster legal contract review, project intake and triage, and engineering reference searches, with 86% of surveyed users saying AI supports more than one-third of their daily work.

iProov publishes HAPS framework for human approval of AI agent actions

iProov has published the Human Approval and Presence Specification, or HAPS, an experimental framework for verifying that a human approved a specific action before an AI agent carries it out. Released on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license, HAPS includes procedural rules, test vectors, and a partial Rust reference implementation.
