Epson has introduced the SureColor V4000, expanding its SureColor V-Series with a compact A1+ UV flatbed printer designed for businesses producing customized merchandise, signage, and photo-quality applications.
As demand grows for on-demand printing and personalized products across Southeast Asia, businesses are increasingly bringing production in-house. Epson positions the SureColor V4000 as a solution that combines image quality, productivity, and operational efficiency while fitting into space-constrained production environments.
Built for commercial production
The SureColor V4000 is designed for businesses handling larger print formats, thicker substrates, and higher production volumes. It supports A1+ print sizes and media up to 20cm thick, allowing users to produce signage, display graphics, phone cases, notebooks, and other rigid substrates without relying on outsourced production.
Joining the SC-V7000 in Epson’s UV flatbed portfolio, the SC-V4000 offers a larger print area than a typical A1 machine while maintaining a compact footprint suited to businesses with limited floor space.
High-quality output with creative flexibility
The printer features a 10-color UltraChrome UV ink set that includes grey, red, white, and varnish inks to expand the available color gamut and improve tonal gradation.
According to Epson, the configuration helps reduce graininess while supporting creative applications such as textured finishes, gloss effects, layered printing, and detailed graphics. The SureColor V4000 is also capable of reproducing fine lines and 2-point text, making it suitable for signage and other applications requiring sharp image quality.
White and varnish inks further broaden production possibilities by allowing businesses to add depth and specialty finishes across a range of rigid media.
Designed for efficient workflows
The SureColor V4000 is designed to help businesses manage shorter production runs and a wider variety of custom jobs without adding operational complexity.
It delivers print speeds of up to 4.6 square meters per hour, while its larger A1+ flatbed allows multiple items to be printed in a single production cycle, improving throughput and making more efficient use of available workspace.
Daily operation has also been simplified through a front-access design that allows routine maintenance and consumable replacement to be completed quickly. Automatic media height adjustment helps position the print head consistently across substrates of varying thicknesses, reducing manual setup while maintaining image quality.
