The highly anticipated soul successor of the Pocophone F1 is finally coming to the country. Xiaomi has officially launched the Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro in other countries) locally.
The local Mi 9T Pro will come in two variants a 6 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage and a 6 GB RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. Pricing is PHP 18,990 for the 64 GB version and PHP 20,490 for the 128 GB version.
The Mi 9T Pro was heralded as the new flagship killer with its flagship-level specs at an affordable price.
The Mi 9T Pro is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor. It also has a pop-up front camera and a triple camera setup at the back. It’s all fitted with a curved glass back.
“The Mi 9T Pro is designed to bring heavy smartphone users a smooth and immersive full-screen experience,” said Steven Shi, Head of Southeast Asia, Xiaomi. “Filipino Mi fans who love to play games or create videos on their smartphones will surely enjoy the powerful performance of the device.”
The Mi 9T Pro has a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 91.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. The whole phone is covered with Gorilla Glass 5 so minor drops are sure to be no problem.
Another impressive feature of the Mi 9T Pro is its camera. On the front, it has a 20-megapixel pop-up camera. The main camera on the back has a 48-megapixel Sony sensor with AI capabilities. Beneath the main shooter are 13-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. Steady handheld night photography and motion tracking feature let users capture high-quality photos in any settings. Video quality is great too, the 9T Pro has support for UHD 4K and captures videos at 60 fps.
Powering Mi 9T Pro is a 4000 mAh battery that’s also capable of 27W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the battery can be charged to 58 percent in 30 minutes, and fully charged in 73 minutes.
Other features of the Mi 9T Pro are NFC capability (multi-functional), an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and dual-band GPS.
The Mi 9T Pro will be available for pre-order starting September 6 on Lazada and on September 7 at Mi Authorized Stores. It will come in four different colors: flame red, glacier blue, carbon black, and pearl white.
