Green GSM Philippines has handed over 1,000 electric vehicles to driver partners as the centerpiece of its Green GSM Platform Driver Partner Festival held from September 12 to 14, 2026, at The Tent in Las Piñas City and partner depots.
The event brought together thousands of current and prospective driver partners and forms part of Green GSM’s wider effort to expand its electric mobility ecosystem in the Philippines. The additional vehicles are intended to increase service capacity while giving more drivers access to EV-based operating models.
Rental model lowers entry cost
Green GSM also introduced a vehicle rental setup developed with VinFast for eligible driver partners.
Initial investment starts at PHP5,000, giving drivers another way to enter electric vehicle operations without purchasing a vehicle outright. Available models include the four-seat VinFast Herio Green/VF 5 and the seven-seat Limo Green.
The program is positioned around lower barriers to entry and operating-cost management. Support for participating drivers includes free charging under applicable programs and VinFast warranty coverage of up to 7 years or 160,000kmfor the Limo Green and VF 5/Herio Green.
A community platform for driver partners
The festival also marked the launch of the Global Green GSM Driver Partner Community in the Philippines.
The platform is intended to connect driver partners, give members a place to share experiences in operating EVs and providing mobility services, and help keep them informed about relevant policies and program updates.
For drivers still considering the shift to electric vehicles, the event also included test drives, discussions about EV operations, information on applicable policies and benefits, and assistance with registration procedures.
Expanding Green GSM’s operating network
“Through the Green GSM Platform Driver Partner Festival and Car Handover Week, Green GSM aims to accompany the driver community in its development and expansion while enhancing both quality and professionalism,” said Le Thi Thu Trang, CEO of Green GSM Philippines.

Green GSM currently operates electric taxi services in Metro Manila, Central Visayas, and Mindanao, with two main service offerings: Green GSM Car and the seven-seat Green GSM Limo premium taxi.
The company is also expanding partnerships with local taxi operators through different operating models as it builds out its EV mobility network.
