The Red Bull Wings Cup has opened in the Philippines, giving local EA SPORTS FC 27 players a chance to compete from national qualifiers through to the World Finals in Miami.
The tournament is being staged across almost 80 countries in partnership with EA SPORTS and PlayStation, with players of different skill levels able to enter either from home or through participating university qualifiers.
TWO LEAGUES, ONE ROAD TO THE NATIONAL FINALS
The Philippine competition is divided into two tracks.
The University League is open to currently enrolled university students, who will compete on PlayStation 5 consoles in on-campus qualifiers across Metro Manila and Cebu using EA SPORTS FC 27 Rush.
The Open League, meanwhile, allows players to compete online through PlayStation Tournaments on their PlayStation 5 consoles using their own squads in EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Team.
The University League runs from September 28 to October 16, 2026, while the Open League takes place from October 17 to 18.
NATIONAL FINALS SET FOR NOVEMBER 7
Top players from both leagues will advance to the National Finals on November 7 at Matchpoint Sportsbar.
Eligible National Champions will earn the right to represent the Philippines at the Red Bull Wings Cup World Finals at Inter Miami’s Nu Stadium in Miami, USA, in early 2027.
The international final will bring together competitors from participating countries, combining EA SPORTS FC competition with football-focused experiences around the event.
OPEN TO FILIPINO PLAYERS AGED 18 AND ABOVE
The Red Bull Wings Cup is open to Philippine residents aged 18 and above, subject to local terms and conditions.
The competition is designed to accommodate both experienced and more casual EA SPORTS FC players, with the University and Open League formats providing separate paths into the national competition.
