Tesla has upgraded the Model Y L with quicker acceleration while expanding its retail and charging presence in the Philippines.
The six-seat electric SUV now accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds, down from 5.0 seconds previously. The improved acceleration comes as standard, while the Model Y L continues to offer up to 681km of range under the WLTP cycle.
MODEL Y L GETS QUICKER OFF THE LINE
Tesla positions the Model Y L as a family-focused SUV combining six-seat practicality with electric performance, efficiency, and technology.
The latest update trims half a second from its 0–100km/h time, giving the vehicle a more responsive performance profile without changing its stated 681km WLTP range.
The upgraded Model Y L is now available to order through the Tesla Model Y configurator.
TESLA BRINGS ITS EV EXPERIENCE TO PAMPANGA
Tesla is also bringing its retail experience closer to customers in Northern Luzon through a temporary activation at SM City Clark from October 2 to 18.

Visitors can explore Tesla vehicles, learn more about the company’s charging network, and schedule test drives during the activation period.
Customers who visit the SM City Clark activation and complete a qualifying reservation during the campaign period can receive up to 5,000km worth of Supercharging credits, subject to the applicable promotion terms.
NEW DESTINATION CHARGING STATION AT SM CITY CLARK
The Pampanga activation coincides with the opening of a Tesla Destination Charging station at SM City Clark.
Located at the mall’s North Parking area, the station has four charging slots capable of delivering up to 11kW of charging power.

Tesla customers in Northern Luzon can also access support from a Tesla Accredited Body Shop at LAUS Auto Service Center.
TESLA EXPANDS ITS PH CHARGING FOOTPRINT
Tesla Philippines currently operates four Supercharger sites with 16 Superchargers and 10 Destination Charging sites with 40 Wall Connectors.
The company says it plans to open more charging locations.
Planned Supercharger locations include Baguio, Manila, Seven/Neo BGC, Paseo Center Makati, and Robinsons Magnolia. Additional Destination Charging sites are planned for SM City Cebu and SM Olongapo Central.
The expansion extends Tesla’s charging footprint beyond its existing Metro Manila presence as the company builds out support for owners traveling across more parts of the country.

MODEL 3 FINANCING STARTS AT PHP29,990 PER MONTH
Tesla is also promoting financing and ownership incentives across its Philippine lineup.
The Model 3 is available through financing plans starting at PHP29,990 per month, subject to financing terms and eligibility.
Other limited-time incentives for eligible customers include Supercharging credits, one year of complimentary comprehensive insurance, purchase incentives, and a complimentary home charger.
Exact inclusions can vary depending on the vehicle, offer, and applicable campaign conditions.
REFERRAL PROGRAM ADDS TESLA CREDITS
Tesla’s Referral Program also provides incentives for existing owners and new buyers.
Existing owners can receive PHP6,500 in Tesla credits per successful referral, while new buyers can receive PHP13,000 toward a new vehicle purchase, according to the company.
Tesla owners can also join the Tesla Owners Club, which provides discounts and privileges from participating merchant partners.
A GROWING PHILIPPINE RETAIL PRESENCE
Tesla currently operates the Tesla Center BGC alongside pop-up locations at Alabang Town Center and Opus Mall.
The temporary SM City Clark location adds another touchpoint in Northern Luzon through October 18, complementing the new charging infrastructure at the mall.
Taken together, the faster Model Y L, Pampanga activation, and planned charging sites show Tesla developing both sides of its Philippine EV strategy: expanding the vehicle lineup while building the infrastructure and retail presence needed to support owners beyond Metro Manila.
