Emirates is stepping up pilot recruitment in the Philippines as it expands operations to meet growing customer demand.

In cooperation with Industrial Personnel and Management Services Inc. (IPAMS), the airline will hold its first pilot recruitment roadshow in Manila on October 28–29, 2026, inviting experienced commercial pilots to explore career opportunities with Emirates.

THREE RECRUITMENT SESSIONS IN MANILA

The Manila roadshow will hold sessions at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on October 28, followed by another session at 10:00 a.m. on October 29.

Experienced pilots interested in joining Emirates as First Officers, Direct Entry Captains, or through the Accelerated Command Programme can register through the official Manila pilot roadshow registration form.

During the sessions, prospective pilots can learn more about Emirates’ recruitment process, available opportunities, training programs, expected career progression, and employment benefits. They can also speak with pilots currently flying for Emirates.

NEW PATHWAY FOR NARROWBODY CAPTAINS

The roadshow will also introduce Emirates’ new Narrowbody to Widebody Direct Entry Captain Campaign.

The program gives eligible experienced pilots another pathway to join Emirates and transition into widebody operations as the airline continues expanding its fleet and global network.

“Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern all wide-body fleets across a global network,” said Khalid Al Zarooni, Emirates country manager for the Philippines.

“They will have the opportunity to undergo robust in-house training at Emirates’ cutting-edge training facility and be based in the vibrant city of Dubai. We look forward to welcoming more pilots from the Philippines onboard our airline as we ramp up our operations globally.”

FLYING ACROSS A GLOBAL NETWORK

Emirates pilots operate across a network spanning six continents, flying a fleet that includes Airbus A380s, Boeing 777s, and the airline’s growing Airbus A350 fleet.

Emirates has taken delivery of 27 A350s, with another 47 aircraft on order, alongside 270 Boeing 777Xs on order.

The expanding fleet supports the airline’s recruitment requirements as it adds capacity and prepares for future aircraft deliveries.

TRAINING IN DUBAI

New pilots joining Emirates undergo evidence- and competency-based in-house training at the airline’s pilot training facilities in Dubai.

Training infrastructure includes the newly opened Emirates Crew Training Centre, a US$135 million purpose-built facility housing six full-flight simulator bays for Airbus A350 and Boeing 777X aircraft.

The facility forms part of Emirates’ broader investment in training pilots for its growing widebody fleet.

BENEFITS FOR PILOTS AND THEIR FAMILIES

Emirates pilots receive a package that includes a competitive tax-free salary, 42 days of annual leave, and tickets for themselves and their immediate family.

Other benefits include company-provided accommodation in gated communities, child education allowance, life, medical and dental insurance, and discounted travel benefits for wider family and friends.

Full eligibility requirements, career opportunities, and benefits are available through the Emirates pilot careers page.

36 YEARS OF EMIRATES IN THE PHILIPPINES

The recruitment roadshow comes as Emirates marks 36 years of operations in the Philippines, one of its longest-standing markets.

The airline currently operates 32 weekly flights connecting Manila, Cebu, and Clark with Dubai, following a capacity expansion earlier this year.

Emirates has also extended its Travel Rehearsal program to Cebu and Clark, helping neurodiverse children and their families become more familiar with the airport journey before travel.

The airline recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration during ATM 2026 to strengthen support for overseas Filipino workers and their families.
