Xiaomi recently announced the arrival of its mid-range smartphone, the Mi 9T.
The latest from the popular Mi9 family has a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Mi 9T’s rear triple camera set-up is composed of a 48-megapixel f/1.75 main shooter with Sony’s IMX 582 sensor, an ultra-wide angle 13-megapixel f/2.4 lens with a 124.8-degree field of view, and an 8-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens. This setup promises to deliver “an SLR-like photography experience.” The 20MP pop-up front-facing camera with a sapphire glass cover and offers various lighting effects.
The device runs on Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 730 with an increasing CPU and GPU performance. Qualcomm SnapdragonTM 730 mobile platform, offers an increase of 35% for CPU performance, and of 10% for GPU.
Boosting the device’s gaming performance, it now comes with the new Game Turbo 2.0 to optimize touch response, display, sound quality, network, and in-game calls. Touch response rate goes up to 180Hz, while click and touch response times are reduced to about 70 milliseconds.
The Mi 9T comes with a 4000mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB C. It also has multi-function NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Mi 9T will initially come in the Carbon Black color with prices starting at PHP 15,990 for the 6GB+64GB model and PHP 17,990 for the 6GB+128GB model. Both models are already available for pre-order at Xiaomi official store on Lazada and will be available for purchase starting July 12 on Lazada and at Mi Authorized stores.
