Apple’s rumored “iWatch” has been reportedly under the process of production now according to the Taiwan-based publication, China Times.
Cited sources were from Apple’s supply chain Asia, which claims that part of the production includes advanced SiP (system-in-a-package) modules – commonly used in mobile devices like portable music players and smartphones, which also contains a processor, DRAM and flash memory.
Also, according to reports, the device will be released in the later part of 2014, with the production of up to 3 million devices ready to be sold in the market by second quarter.
Apple CEO Tim Cook, however, has kept mum regarding any wearable device that Apple will be releasing. But to everyone’s recall, his statements from the previous months include subtle hints about a “new category” product that the company is planning to release before 2014 ends.
