At long last, Fujifilm has rightfully carried its retro design over to its instant film camera line. The Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic turns its back on the blob-shaped marshmallow-hued shell of its previously launched brethren and mirrors the vintage camera blueprint of the company’s X-Series mirrorless line-up.
The Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic comes in a stunning silver and black body. It uses 86mm x 54mm color film and prints out 62mm x 46mm pictures.
What’s interesting about the camera, apart from its design, is its double-exposure feature that lets you overlay one shot over another in one frame. It also has macro mode, a “Kids Mode” for shooting moving subjects, “Party Mode” for keeping both the foreground and background well-lit in dark shooting conditions, landscape mode, a self-timer function, plus a bulb mode that lets you shoot 10-second exposures at the maximum. The camera also has brightness controls.
The Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic will be sold in the Philippines at a retail price of PHP 8,980.
