LG has just launched its flagship Android, and decided to let go of the “Optimus” name of its predecessors. The new phone, now simply called the G2, is their best-ever smartphone yet thanks to Learning from You, bringing the innovative placement of the control keys (power/volume) at the rear, just below the camera. The G2 is powered by a quad-core 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The display is a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display, with 423ppi. The rear camera, protected by sapphire crystal glass, is a 13-megapixel shooter with LED flash that is capable of capturing Full HD video at 60fps. This is complemented in front with a 2.1-megapixel camera. Memory is 2GB RAM plus 32GB of internal storage, negating the need for expansion slots. The built-in battery is an outstanding 3000mAh—more than enough juice for an entire day, even for power users. That’s extraordinary, considering that the G2 is only 8.9mm thin. LG has built in a number of advanced features to enhance the user interface, such as: KnockOn, Guest Mode, Audio Zoom, Plug & Pop, Answer Me, Dual Recording/ Dual Camera, Tracking Zoom, and others that you will have to discover.
