The G2, LG’s newest android flagship device, has finally landed on Philippine shores. The device, which was designed around the user, features that change the thinking behind conventional mobile phone design and make it more efficient. If you’ve been following this site, you know we’re big fans of the G2, and couldn’t stop gushing about it on the video.
The event, which was a a detailed run-through of the device and its features, also introduced the G2’s brand ambassadors, Paolo Avelino, Maxene Magalona and Kiefer Ravena. Each gushed about their favorite features, from the massive 3,000 mAh battery, to the amazing 13 megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization, or beautiful 5.2 inch HD-IPS screen.
The event, held at Solaire, also featured talks from the brains behind the all-natural Loudbasstard sound amplifier, Koh Onozawa and Franz Ignacio who talked about the value of design, and how much they appreciated the G2 for it. There was also a quick talk by CMMA-winning photojournalist Revoli Cortez and the power, versatility and amazing capability of the G2’s main camera.
The phone, which runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, will be available from local telcos soon.
