Smartphones are becoming more and more affordable, and Gionee has recognized that with the Pioneer P1. It comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen and is 12.7 mm thick, and also has a 1 GHz Cortex A9 CPU with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory (expandable via microSD). This phone runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), and gives the user a 2 mega pixel snapper on the back of the phone and a 0.3 mega pixel one on the front.
