Stat-Is-Eeks, an inter-university quiz show for non-Statistics majors organized by the UP Statistical Society, is a competition held annually to provide a unique platform for college students to showcase their knowledge and skills in Statistics. As the pioneer academic organization at the UP School of Statistics, UP Diliman, UP Statistical Society hosts this quiz show as part of their mission of promoting the field of Statistics and enhancing people’s interest in it.
Over the years, different teams from prestigious universities, colleges, and organizations have been part of Stat-Is-Eeks. Every year, these teams show their vast knowledge of Statistics and its many applications in different fields. And each year, they come back with more competitive representatives and more drive and passion to win the competition.
With over ten participating universities and organizations and over twenty registered teams from last year’s quiz show, the 35th Stat-Is-Eeks raises the stakes with exciting questions and information that will surely fascinate anyone with the art and science of uncertainty — Statistics. Are you a non-Statistics undergraduate student? If yes, then this is the perfect time to play your cards right and turn the tides with Stat-Is-Eeks!
