Anker SOLIX, the dedicated clean energy and portable power solutions brand of Anker Innovations, has entered the Philippines with the ambition to make decentralized energy more economically accessible for Filipino households. It is targeting an approximate 3-year payback period for a typical residential solar storage installation. Actual savings depend on solar conditions, roof orientation, shading, household consumption, and system configuration.

A LAUNCH WITH LOCAL PARTNERS

The brand launched through a strategic partnership between NAVCO, a distributor and retailer of global consumer electronics brands in the Philippines, and GoPrime, the solar energy solutions company behind GoSolar. The launch comes at an opportune time, as electricity costs in the Philippines remain among the highest in Southeast Asia, alongside continued challenges with grid reliability and unpredictable weather.

As the Philippines moves toward more decentralized energy solutions, solar paired with storage offers an alternative to relying solely on traditional backup power.

“The Philippines is uniquely positioned for this transition to decentralized energy because the need is not only environmental; it is economic and practical. High electricity costs, grid challenges, and the country’s exposure to typhoons make energy independence increasingly relevant to everyday Filipino households,” said Symons Xie, general manager of Anker SOLIX.

THREE NEW ENERGY SOLUTIONS FOR FILIPINO HOMES

At the center of the launch were three Anker SOLIX products designed to meet different household energy needs, from portable backup power to comprehensive home energy management.

SOLIX XE Hybrid. This whole-home energy solution is designed to provide backup power while enabling greater solar self-consumption. When paired with 8 to 10 solar panels, the system can generate an estimated 7,440 to 9,300kWh annually, based on a Manila-area benchmark of approximately 1,550 equivalent full-load hours per year. This can deliver approximately PHP64,700 to PHP80,900 in annual electricity offset or savings, based on an assumed electricity rate of PHP14.50/kWh (the Meralco overall electricity rate for households for September 2026).

SolarBank 4. Positioned as an accessible entry point for households looking to get started in decentralized energy, the SolarBank 4 can generate an estimated 3,720kWh annually when paired with 4 panels, with approximately 2,230kWh potentially self-consumed. With six panels, the estimated annual generation rises to approximately 5,580kWh. Depending on the household’s system configuration, this can deliver approximately PHP32,300 to PHP48,600 in annual electricity offset, based on the same assumed rate of PHP14.50/kWh.

S2000. Rounding out the lineup, the S2000 is designed for those looking for a more portable energy solution. Recognizing a market gap for high-quality, plug-and-play energy solutions, the S2000 is able to provide clean power in a more portable form for those who work remotely, travel or are outdoors frequently, or live in smaller homes.

NAVCO AND GOPRIME BUILD A NATIONWIDE ECOSYSTEM

Anker SOLIX now moves to solidify its presence in the country. Plans include expanding across retail and e-commerce not just in Metro Manila but in Visayas and Mindanao, exploring local installment financing partnerships, and actively building out its EPC installer network to strengthen local installation and service capabilities in more areas.

This will be achieved through a combination of NAVCO’s nationwide brand-building, distribution, retail, and sales capabilities together with GoSolar’s expertise in solar energy engineering, system design, installation, and technical support. Under the partnership, NAVCO will lead product importation, distribution, brand marketing, and retail development, while GoSolar will spearhead technical solutions, installation services, and after-sales technical support for applicable home energy systems.

“This launch is the beginning of a long-term commitment: we are here to grow with the market, expand our local presence and product portfolio, and help shape a Philippine energy future that is more resilient, more sustainable, and always on,” said Ryan Tan, president of the NAVCO Group.

As the brand continues to expand its presence, capabilities, and portfolio in the Philippines, it remains focused on delivering its promise of the Next Extreme in energy: extreme savings, extreme storage, extreme sustainability.
