Shopee has launched ShopeeVIP+ in the Philippines, expanding its subscription program by combining e-commerce benefits with access to Netflix.
The new plan builds on ShopeeVIP, which was introduced last year, and starts at PHP140 per month for a multi-month subscription that includes Netflix Mobile access. ShopeeVIP+ is also being rolled out in Indonesia and Thailand as part of Shopee and Netflix’s regional partnership.
Netflix joins the Shopee subscription
ShopeeVIP+ subscribers can stream Netflix titles through the included Mobile Plan, with the option to upgrade to Netflix Basic, Standard, or Premium.
The Mobile Plan is intended for individual viewing on a smartphone or tablet using one device. At the other end of the range, the Premium Plan supports up to Ultra HD quality, simultaneous streaming on as many as four devices, and downloads on up to six supported devices.
The partnership is also Netflix’s first e-commerce collaboration in Southeast Asia.

Tizar Patria Irsyadi, Netflix head of business development and partnerships for Southeast Asia, added that the partnership gives Netflix another way to reach Filipino audiences while combining entertainment with Shopee’s existing consumer benefits.
Shopping perks remain at the core
Beyond streaming, ShopeeVIP+ includes daily free shipping with no minimum spend through delivery vouchers and a selection of daily and monthly discount vouchers.
Members can also access 20% off selected brands, VIP Day benefits, and other Shopee discounts. Existing ShopeeVIP members can upgrade to VIP+ for an additional PHP41 per month, with added perks that include monthly vouchers and 0% interest SPayLater benefits.
The subscription also includes partner benefits from other services, including Canva Pro, ChatGPT Go, and Duolingo, depending on applicable program terms.
Plans start at PHP140 per month
The ShopeeVIP+ package with Netflix Mobile starts at PHP140 per month for a multi-month subscription, while a single-month subscription costs PHP169.
Subscribers can choose their preferred Netflix tier during the sign-up process in the Shopee app, then select a subscription period and complete payment using one of the available methods. Once activated, the membership combines the chosen Netflix access with the corresponding ShopeeVIP+ benefits.
In the Philippines, subscribers can also access a Netflix plan bundled with VIP+, daily and monthly vouchers offering an extra 20% off, daily free shipping with no minimum spend, and SPayLater at 0% interest for three months.
