Watsons, Asia’s largest international health and beauty retailer, has announced a partnership with Atome, Asia’s leading Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) platform, to offer flexible deferred payment options across 947 outlets in the Philippines as well as purchases through its physical stores, website, and mobile app. Watsons is also partnering with Atome in other Southeast Asian markets, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

In August this year, Atome launched the first Atome Card in the Philippines, offering Filipino consumers a line of credit up to PHP200,000 limit with no annual and sign-up fees or hidden charges. Shoppers can use their Atome Card online and in-store during check-out.
Launched in the Philippines in October 2021, Atome today partners with over 600 online and offline retailers in the country, including SM Store, ZALORA, Rustan’s online, Bench, Aldo, Charles & Keith, Forever 21, Watsons, Converse, NEW Balance, URATEX, Anson’s, Anker, Planet Sports across fashion, beauty, lifestyle and home and living categories.
