The Ford Territory has been hailed as Reader’s Choice Car of the Year in the Top Gear Philippines Awards 2020.

The Ford SUV also brought home the Reader’s Choice Value Pick and Family Car awards, sweeping Top Gear Philippines’ Reader’s Choice category for winning three out of the six awards given to automotive companies.

The Ford Territory also won the Consumer Choice Award in the 2020 AutoDeal Awards. The Territory received the highest overall score from buyers’ feedback, particularly in the areas of fuel economy, driving performance, comfort, looks and style, interior features, and interior space.

“We thank our growing customer and fan base for their vote and preference towards the Territory, as well as to our media partners for these citations,” shares Ryan Lorenzo, marketing and field sales operations director, Ford Philippines. “We look forward to seeing more Filipinos get behind the wheel of the Territory and enjoy the next-level SUV driving experience it offers.”

The Ford Territory became the top-selling small SUV in 2020 with 1,925 vehicles sold or a 33 percent share in the small SUV segment. First-quarter 2021 sales have already reached 1,715 vehicles, or a 54 percent share in the small SUV segment, driving its sustained leadership this year.

The Ford Territory combines a sleek and stylish look, impressive performance, and smart and safe technologies in an SUV, bringing to life the Ford DNA in its design, engineering, capability, and quality. It is available in Titanium+ and Trend variants, with a host of features and driver-assist technologies standard in both variants. Powering the Ford Territory is a 1.5L EcoBoost engine mated to a CVT transmission with Sport mode that delivers 143PS and 225Nm of torque, balancing power and fuel efficiency.

The Ford-engineered and designed SUV is also equipped with an in-vehicle infotainment display powered by a 10-inch touchscreen with adjustable quad view, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility, four USB ports, and multiple speakers (8 for the Titanium+ variant and 6 for the Trend variant). Wireless charging is exclusive to the Titanium+ variant.

The Ford Territory also offers maximum safety with Ford Co-Pilot360, a suite of driver-assist technologies available in the Titanium+ variant that include active park assist with parallel-parking and the segment-first perpendicular parking, 360-degree around-view monitor, adaptive cruise control with forward-collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot information system, and lane departure warning.
