The inaugural three-day event will bring together truck manufacturers, local body builders, fleet operators, suppliers, and industry stakeholders under one roof.
The Philippine International Truck Show, or PITS, will make its debut on October 22 to 24, 2026 at Hall 1 of SMX Convention Center Manila, creating a dedicated exhibition for the country’s truck and commercial vehicle sector.
Organized by the Truck Manufacturers Association, Inc. and the Automotive Body Manufacturers Association of the Philippines, Inc., the inaugural event will bring together commercial vehicle manufacturers, local body builders, fleet operators, transport and logistics companies, entrepreneurs, suppliers, government representatives, and other industry partners.
A dedicated platform for commercial vehicles
Carrying the theme “Driving Progress Together,” PITS is intended to give the commercial vehicle industry a platform focused specifically on the technologies, applications, and partnerships that keep businesses and transport operations moving.
Trucks and other commercial vehicles support sectors ranging from agriculture and manufacturing to construction, e-commerce, logistics, and passenger transport. Around those vehicles is a much wider ecosystem of manufacturers, distributors, body builders, suppliers, dealers, technicians, drivers, regulators, fleet operators, and customers.
“Trucks are essential to practically every sector of our economy, yet there has never been a major show in the Philippines dedicated specifically to bringing the entire truck and commercial vehicle ecosystem together,” said Robert D. Carlos, president of TMA.
“Through PITS, we want to create that platform. Our theme, ‘Driving Progress Together,’ reflects what we believe is necessary for our industry to move forward.”
The show will also provide a venue for discussions around operational efficiency, road safety, new technology, and more sustainable mobility solutions as transport requirements continue to evolve.
Truck platforms meet local body-building expertise
One of the show’s defining elements is the collaboration between TMA and ABMAP.
For many commercial vehicle buyers, choosing a cab and chassis is only the first step. The truck still needs to be configured for its intended role, whether as a cargo truck, wing van, refrigerated van, utility vehicle, passenger vehicle, construction unit, or another specialized application.
That makes Philippine body builders a central part of the event, giving visitors a closer look at how local body applications complement global truck platforms.
“A truck becomes truly valuable to a business when it is configured for the work it needs to perform,” said Conrad Almazora, vice president for internal affairs of ABMAP.
“Through PITS, customers will be able to see how truck manufacturers and body builders work together to provide complete transport solutions.”
A comparison space for fleet buyers
PITS is also being positioned as a practical venue for businesses evaluating new commercial vehicles.
Fleet operators, SMEs, logistics companies, contractors, transport operators, and entrepreneurs will be able to compare different truck platforms, body configurations, technologies, and business solutions in one location. They can also speak directly with manufacturers and body builders about operating requirements and available configurations.
Participating exhibitors are also preparing show discounts, promotional packages, and other special offers during the event.
Major truck brands and body builders join the show
The inaugural PITS lineup includes commercial vehicle manufacturers and distributors such as Isuzu, Hino, Toyota, FUSO, Foton, DAF, JMC, CMC Commercial Vehicles, and MAN.
Philippine body builders taking part include Almazora, CENTRO, F. Cura, GEORDAN, Kyoei Autobody, and Santarosa, alongside other industry participants.
Their combined presence will give visitors access to trucks, buses, locally developed body applications, technologies, services, and other transport solutions. Beyond the exhibits, TMA and ABMAP also see PITS as a venue for knowledge exchange and industry collaboration.
Free admission for all three days
The 1st Philippine International Truck Show will be held from October 22 to 24, 2026 at Hall 1, SMX Convention Center Manila.
Show hours are 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on October 22 and 23, and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 24. Admission is free.
