    The Philippine Rallycross (PHRX) Series honored the winners of the 2021 Rallycross Season during an awards night held at the Two Bott’s Resto Bar Co., in Southwoods Ecocentrum in Biñan, Laguna on August 11, 2022. The awarding ceremony finally took place after being postponed numerous times due to the pandemic.

    Ran mainly on a specially laid-out dirt track at the Clark Global City in Pampanga, the 2021 Philippine Rallycross Series was held over 12 rounds that flagged off in March 2021. However, due to the unexpected lockdowns and IATF restrictions, the 2021 Season dragged on until the following year with the final round being ran in April 2022.

    PHRX organizers Olson Camacho, Ronnie Trinidad, and Eggay Quesada led the awarding ceremony which was attended by the Rallycross participants. Awards were handed out to champions of the Series from Groups 1, 2, 3, 4, Open, UV, AWD, RWD, Novice Class, and Ladies Class.  

    Group 1 winners – JP Polintan, 3rd place; Choy Mabunay, 2nd place; and Noli Tinio, 1st place.

    Group 2 winners – Paul Santos, 3rd place; Steve Acayan, 2nd place; and Louie Camacho, 1st place.

    Group 3 winners – Paul Santos, 3rd place; Steve Acayan, 2nd place; and Louie Camacho, 1st place.

    Group 4 winners – Alex Gonzales, 3rd place; Paul Santos, 2nd place; and Steve Acayan, 1st place.

    Open Class winners – Mon Dimapilis, 3rd place; Dindo de Jesus, 2nd place; and Patrick NG, 1st place.

    UV Class winners – Allan Sarmiento, 3rd place; Mon Dimapilis, 2nd place; and Patrick Ng, 1st place.

    AWD Class winners – Allan Sarmiento, 3rd place; Mon Dimapilis, 2nd place; and Patrick Ng, 1st place.

    RWD Class winners – EZ Ligaya, 3rd place, Jun Magno; 2nd place; and Dindo de Jesus, 1st place.

    For the Ladies Class, Pauline Barrenchea got 3rd place; Elysse Menorca got 2nd place; and Kathy Villar got 1st place.

    The Novice Driver Award was given to Mr. Daniel Urian. Special and Fun Awards were also given out to the participants.
