Finally completing the 90 Series car line-up, Volvo Philippines recently launched the V90 Cross Country, its newest addition to its modernly luxurious and adventurous cars last June 9, 2017 at the North Court of the Power Plant Mall, Makati City. Joined by its other siblings, the Volvo S90 and the XC90, the V90 further fortifies Volvo’s leadership in the Cross Country Segment.
Powering Volvo’s newest addition to its luxury estate is a 2.0L, four-cylinder twin turbocharged D5 engine with a Euro6 environmental classification. Assuring drivers of a speedy but smooth drive, the engine maxes out at a horsepower of 235 at 4000rpm and a torque of 480 Nm at 1750-2250 rpm. The Volvo V90 CC runs on Diesel, and features an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. Adding to the car’s powertrain technology is Volvo’s modular approach to advance boosting; based on the boosting technology introduced last 2008, the new and improved advance boosting now enables a delivery of leveled up power and drivability that’s able to maintain low fuel consumption.

Sophistically built for adventure, Volvo’s newest addition to the 90 Series boasts a design language that features an elegant new design with visible strength.
