XPENG has confirmed that it will officially launch in the Philippines in September 2026, following its earlier announcement of a third-quarter market entry.
The brand will make its formal local debut through a public launch event, where Filipino consumers will get their first opportunity to experience XPENG and learn more about its approach to intelligent mobility.
XPENG Philippines to operate as direct subsidiary
XPENG will operate locally through XPENG Philippines, its direct subsidiary and national sales and marketing organization.
XPENG Philippines will oversee local sales, marketing, distribution, and retail operations, giving the company direct control over its Philippine market activities as it builds its presence in the country.
The local launch forms part of XPENG’s broader international expansion. The company currently has a presence in more than 60 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Latin America, supported by more than 380 overseas stores.
X9 leads initial Philippine lineup
The September launch will also mark the Philippine debut of the XPENG X9, the brand’s flagship seven-seater.
XPENG positions the X9 around executive-class comfort, AI-powered technologies, and a premium cabin aimed at modern families, business leaders, and technology-focused professionals.
L03 joins as intelligent SUV coupe
The second model in the initial lineup is the XPENG L03, described as an intelligent SUV coupe combining contemporary design, AI-powered features, and software-defined vehicle technologies.
Together, the two vehicles will establish XPENG’s initial product range as it enters the local Smart EV market.
