2GO is serving as the official logistics partner of around 300 maritime businesses participating in BEACON Expo 2026, providing exhibitors and contractors with support for transport, permits, venue coordination, ingress, and pull-out activities.
The arrangement uses 2GO-SMX Events Logistics, a centralized permit and logistics facilitation system established by 2GO Group, SMX Convention Center, Central Business Park, and SM Estates. The system builds on the organizations’ existing partnership to streamline event operations within SMX Convention Center and the Mall of Asia Complex.
ONE POINT OF COORDINATION FOR EXHIBITORS
As official event forwarder for BEACON Expo 2026, 2GO hosted an exhibitors’ and contractors’ briefing to help participants prepare for the maritime trade exhibition.
The session brought together the Maritime League of the Philippines, exhibitors, contractors, SMX venue managers, media representatives, and 2GO logistics teams. Participants were briefed on event requirements, booth protocols, logistics procedures, venue operations, and timelines to help reduce delays during setup and event operations.
“By simplifying logistics and permit facilitation, we allow exhibitors to focus on what matters most: showcasing their products, engaging with customers, and contributing to industry development,” said Faye Alonzo, business unit head of 2GO Forwarding.
“Through 2GO-SMX Events Logistics, we are providing a single point of coordination that streamlines processes and supports exhibitors from preparation through event completion.”
SUPPORT FROM INGRESS TO PULL-OUT
Through the partnership, 2GO facilitates permit applications on behalf of contractors and exhibitors, coordinates endorsements with SM Estates, and processes submissions with Central Business Park.
Its logistics support covers ingress, activities during the event, and pull-out after the exhibition. Bringing these processes together is intended to reduce the administrative workload for exhibitors while helping them comply with venue and estate requirements.
The system also strengthens coordination between contractors, exhibitors, venue operators, logistics teams, and regulatory authorities, reducing the number of separate processes participants need to manage independently.
BUILT FOR A LARGE MARITIME TRADE EVENT
BEACON Expo 2026 carries the theme “Empowering Maritime Excellence: Advancing a Sustainable Blue Economy” and is expected to bring together maritime industry leaders, regulatory partners, and suppliers from across the country.
For exhibitors, the centralized framework is designed to simplify the movement of booth materials and other cargo into and out of the venue while improving coordination around permit requirements and event schedules.
The arrangement reflects how logistics can play a larger role in exhibition management, particularly for trade events where equipment, displays, commercial materials, and specialized cargo must arrive within tightly controlled setup and pull-out windows.
SUPPORTING THE MARITIME INDUSTRY
The partnership is also intended to provide a more organized operating environment for one of the country’s major maritime trade gatherings.
By combining forwarding, venue coordination, permit facilitation, and event logistics, 2GO is positioning the service as an end-to-end solution for exhibitors, not simply a transportation service.
As preparations continue for BEACON Expo & Conference 2026, the company says the integrated approach can support the growing needs of Philippine maritime businesses while allowing exhibitors to focus more closely on their participation in the event.
