3 drivers share their Lalamove journey

MobilityLogistics/Delivery3 drivers share their Lalamove journey

After being displaced from their previous jobs, these partner-drivers share their Lalamove journeys that helped them continue earning a livelihood amidst the global health crisis.

Around 7.3 million Filipinos were found jobless since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. This number includes Lester Llansang, a former actor who found himself unemployed after his recent stint in Ang Probinsyano. The same goes for a lot of partner drivers who joined Lalamove. In its continuous effort to support drivers’ livelihood, the delivery app has kept its doors open for aspiring partner drivers.

Lester Llansang recently made waves from his interview with Ogie Diaz as he shared his newfound Lalamove journey. He extensively shared his day-to-day experiences delivering goods for the platform’s clients.

Alvin Castillo, a former hotel staff, also shared his struggle in dealing with his company’s entrenchment and finding a new means of earning.

With only the hope of making ends meet, he was surprised that he actually earns more now. Alvin shares about his Lalamove journey.

    Arnold Baroquillo, Lalamove Partner Driver

Employees were not the only ones displaced by the pandemic. Arnold Baroquillo owned a business on the verge of collapse and the pandemic made it even harder to bounce back. He began his Lalamove journey and has this to say: “Naghanap ako ng ibang pagkakakitaan dahil nagkaproblema ang negosyo namin.
