Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) launched the all-new Honda BeAT, an update to its automatic scooter and part of the Gen-S lineup designed towards millennials.

The BeAT was given an angular face-lift, showing off a sportier loock with an attractive headlight design. The rear light has also been given the same treatment to fit the scooter’s target users.

Other cosmetic upgrades include a new semi-digital instrument panel, tubeless tires, redesigned wheels, and an ECO-indicator.

The sportier BeAT comes in Filipino-exclusive colors and decals. Available colors are Winning Red, Vivid Blue Metallic and Space Magenta Metallic for the CBS-ISS variant and Winning Red, Ross White and Black for the Standard version.

Housed under the improved exterior is Honda’s latest generation four-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled, eSP engine with a displacement of 110 cc. The engine has a fuel efficiency rating of 63 kilometers on the liter.

To further improve fuel efficiency, the all-new BeAT sports an idling stop switch to automatically switch off the engine during traffic or for brief stops.

The Standard variant of the BeAT is priced at PHP 63,990 while the CBS-ISS variant is available at PHP 69,990.
