    Suzuki’s 2018 Dealer Convention and Awards Night was the venue for the fashionable grand reveal of its latest lineup of motorcycles. The event named Manila Fashion Collection Night, was the perfect stage for these trendy motorbikes.

    Suzuki President Hiroshi Suzuki, said in his welcome remarks that Suzuki acknowledges the changing trends and needs of the young market. With its efforts, Suzuki has become a brand fit for millennials as it merges style, fashion, self expression, uniqueness, and function in motorcycles one would want to be seen on.

    The Manila Fashion Collection Night highlighted the new Suzuki motorcycles complemented by stylish pieces from Bench and Kashieca.

    The brand’s newest motorcycles heated up the runway with its chic design and stylish colors.

    First on the ramp were the Smash motorcycles. The number one selling underbone and leisure motorcycle debuted eight new colors: pink, violet, black, yellow, matte black, red, matte gray, and blue. The Smash motorcycles still carry the signature sportswatch instrument panel and compact chassis, meanwhile the matte gray and blue variants now come with a disc/drum brake combination. The drum brake variants are priced at PHP 57,900 while the disc/drum variant is available at PHP 60,900.

    Following the Smash is the Underbone King. Accompanied by World Hip Hop International winner A-Team, the Raider R150 paraded a bolder, braver look with new military-inspired decals which speaks of its strong and tough character. Powered by a 150 cc carburetor engine, as well as double overhead camshaft, 4-valve, and 6-speed transmission, this ride still comes with an edgy blue lens headlight, unique wavy disc brakes, tubeless tyres, and a key shutter. The Raider R150 Combat Series is available in matte black and matte gray for PHP 97,900.

    One of the highlights of the event was Suzuki’s compact, slim, and fashionable all-new Suzuki Skydrive Sport. The new scooter, which inherits GSX-R DNA, was introduced by young talent Lala Vinzon. It sports a new frame, allowing riders a large floorboard for a more comfortable and flexible riding ride. The Skydrive Sport is powered by 113 cc Suzuki Eco Performance Fuel Injection (SEP Fi) technology that delivers maximum power and efficient fuel consumption. The Skydrive Sport is available in hyper pink, black, and matte silver, will come bundled with an exclusive Suzuki x Bench shirt, and priced at PHP 67,900. At the event, Bench announced its 31st anniversary promo wherein 31 lucky customers will get a chance to win a brand new Skydrive Sport. A special visual merchandising on select Bench stores will also feature Skydrive Sport units nationwide.       

     

    The fashion show was capped off by a performance by Suzuki ambassadors Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil donning a Bench and Kashieca ensemble. The duo underscored the importance of safety riding mentioning that being stylish on the road is fun but should still be paired with proper riding gear and attitude. They were joined by Suzuki executives Hiroshi Suzuki, managing director Norminio Mojica, general manager for Sales and Marketing Jun Bulot, marketing manager Monch Bontogon, regional sales managers Erick Fernandez (North Luzon), Mitsunori Shiraishi (NCR and South Luzon), Bong Pascual (Visayas), and Joel Martin (Mindanao) on stage.

    The event is Suzuki’s annual celebration of milestones as well as and avenue for recognizing its valued dealers.
