New member of the team Eane Jay Sobretodo finished 6th. Mario Borbon also made his way to the eleventh place.

The match showcased the improvement of Filipino riders after months of training and exposure in the international racing scene with Mascardo and Borbon having their comeback at the Suzuki Asian Challenge this year.

During the practice and qualifying round, 14-year old Mascardo was consistent at 2nd place securing grid 2 at the start off. Sobretodo took a leap of faith and advanced from 6th place in the overall standing after being at the 10th place during the second practice round. Borbon was at the 10th Place in the starting grid.
