Team Suzuki riders conducted several charity rides in May and June to help thousands returning underprivileged students in various parts of Central and Southern Luzon.

A total of 190 riders from different clubs and groups simultaneously conducted their Back-to-School charity rides. Through the Suzuki Helps, Aids and Rebuilds (SHARE) program, Suzuki Philippines donated drawstring bags, notebooks, and pencils. The Riders’ clubs added more school supplies, books, uniforms, and snacks. They also held games serving as a fellowship activity with the kids, teachers, and parents.

Riders from Sta. Lucia Raider R150 Club held their charity ride at Kawayan Elementary School in, Majayjay, Laguna and brought school and medical supplies for the 250 students.

Raider R150 Reborn Philippines riders also brought school supplies to the Mangyan Iraya tribe of Oriental Mindoro. Riders from the National Capital Region, Laguna, and Mindoro chapters went to Anastacio Cataquis-Sabina Union Memorial (ACSUM) Elementary School and help bring smiles to 180 students including 28 from the Mangyan Iraya tribe.

The 17 riders from Raiders of Rizal went to Magsaysay Elementary School in Infanta, Quezon. After bringing supplies for the 200 students the riders went directly to another school in Real, Quezon.

Philippine Suzuki Riders Club Laguna chapter also visited Quezon. Thirty members traversed 235kms to help 100 students of Doongan Ilaya Elementary School in Catanauan, Quezon. After riding to Catanauan, the team proceeded to Dolores, Quezon for Suzuki Thunder Riders Organization of the Philippines (TROOP)’s charity activity for the 240 students of Kinabuhayan Elementary School.

R150 North Central Riders and Suzuki Owners Club both did their charity ride up north. The 15 riders from R150 North Central Riders gave school supplies and clothes to the 50 students of Binaan Aeta Integrated School in Mariveles, Bataan. Suzuki Owners club, on the other hand, headed further north to another Aeta community in Botolan, Zambales, where they gave supplies to over 90 children from Alao Elementary School.

The series of charity rides are only some of the documented by Team Suzuki, a lot more going around the country doing this advocacy.
