    Marshall Minor IV reviewed

Marshall has long been a trusted name in the audio world, famed for its iconic guitar amps and retro-inspired designs. The Minor IV True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds bring the brand’s signature style and sound to the competitive world of wireless audio. Positioned as a mid-tier option for casual listeners and loyal fans of the brand, the Minor IV promises a unique mix of style, sound quality, and simplicity. After weeks of testing, I’ve unpacked its strengths, weaknesses, and quirks to determine who these earbuds are truly for.

    Design: 4/5

    Minor IV

Marshall’s Minor IV earbuds stay true to the brand’s aesthetic, giving them a premium look and making them stand out among competitors.

One of the key strengths of the Minor IV design is its lightweight construction. The earbuds are compact and sport a textured black finish with the classic Marshall logo stamped boldly across the surface. Each earbud weighs just 7.38 grams, making them easy to wear for extended periods. However, there’s a caveat: the earbuds lack silicone ear tips, relying instead on a one-size-fits-all hard plastic design. While they fit snugly in my ears and don’t readily fall out, this design won’t work for everyone, especially those with smaller ear canals or who prefer the added security of adjustable tips.

    Minor IV

The buds are IPX4-rated for water resistance. Although not suitable for swimming, they can handle sweat and light rain.

If there’s one area where the design truly shines, it’s the understated elegance of the charging case. Its leather-like exterior, with the Marshall logo boldly embossed across the front, exudes a premium feel. Its compact size and lightweight (39.4g) make it perfect for slipping into your pocket or bag. It also offers wireless charging —a feature I was unable to test, unfortunately— which gives the Minor IV another edge in convenience.

    Hardware: 4.5/5

The Minor IV earbuds are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and two microphones on each bud. Marshall has tuned these drivers to deliver a distinctive sound signature. Multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 ensures a stable and reliable connection.

One of the standout features of the Minor IV is its battery life. The earbuds themselves provide an impressive 7 hours of playback on a single charge, and the charging case extends that to over 30 hours. Moreover, it supports quick charging, delivering 3hrs of playtime in 15-minutes. It takes only 1.1hrs to recharge the earbuds and 2hrs to recharge the case through the USB-C port.

One drawback for some could be the absence of active noise cancellation (ANC). Personally, I don’t mind, as I prefer to be ambient-aware.

    User Experience: 4/5

Using the Minor IV is refreshingly simple. Pairing the earbuds is quick and reliable, and once connected, they hold a steady signal with minimal dropouts. With Multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, I was able to pair my iPhone and iPad simultaneously, allowing me to conveniently take a call on my phone while watching a video on my tablet without having to take out my earbuds.

The controls are touch-sensitive, which aligns well with the minimalist aesthetic but comes with frustrations. Accidental touches were a frequent annoyance, particularly when adjusting the earbuds in my ears. The lack of physical buttons also meant that I occasionally misfired commands when trying to pause music or skip tracks. The touch controls allow for essential functions like play/pause, skipping tracks, and adjusting volume (although I can never remember how many taps does what).

Sound quality is where the Minor IV shows both its strengths and limitations. Marshall has tuned these earbuds with a warm, bass-heavy signature, which is great for genres like rock, hip-hop, and pop. The mids are rich and well-defined, and the highs are present but understated.

I initially found the bass too overpowering for my taste as I prefer a more treble-forward sound, highlighting the intricacies of acoustic and classical tracks. Fortunately, the companion Marshall app allows customization on a 5-band equalizer. That said, the spatial imaging of the earbuds deserves praise, as the sound comes across as full and well-separated.

Battery life has been mentioned earlier, but I must reiterate how impressed I am with this feature. I usually sleep with earphones on, and these are probably the first earbuds that have lasted through the night without dying on me. A quick recharge while I’m getting ready for work, and they’re good to go the whole day.

The accompanying Marshall app also offers additional support beyond sound equalization. For instance, the app shows the battery percentage for the earbuds and case, making up for the absence of a charge indicator on the case itself. It has a unique Battery Preservation option to reduce stress and prolong battery life. Finally, the app allows for OTA firmware updates, ensuring the earbuds keep up with the latest features and functionalities.

    Value: 4/5

Priced at PHP6,690, the Minor IV positions itself in the crowded mid-range segment of wireless earbuds. Its strengths—excellent battery life, stylish design, and customizable sound—make it a good option for everyday use.

    Specifications:

    • Drivers: 12mm dynamic drivers
    • Frequency response: 20Hz – 20kHz
    • Bluetooth: 5.3
    • Battery life: 7 hours (earbuds), 30+ hours (in case)
    • Charging: USB-C, wireless charging
    • Water resistance: IPX4
    • Weight: Earbud 7.38g, Charging case 39.4g

    What’s Hot:

    • Distinctive design
    • Long battery life
    • Marshall app

    What’s Not:

    • Ear tips are not adjustable

    Bottomline:

For fans of Marshall’s signature sound and aesthetic, the Minor IV offers a compelling proposition.

Filipino concert tourism takes flight with seamless travel tools

From Swifties who flocked to The Eras Tour to KPop stans chasing their biases, Filipinos are increasingly getting on the concert tourism bandwagon to travel overseas to see their favorite music acts.

Many combine these trips with vacations to fuel the growing trend of music tourism. A study by Expedia notes that 44% of the respondents would travel to take in a concert as an excuse to visit a new destination.

However, concert tourism is an investment in itself. The costs of flights, accommodations, tickets, merchandise, and daily expenses add up, and concertgoers save for months, even years, to make it happen.

To protect this investment and allow Pinoys to focus on the experience of watching their idols live, finance superapp GCash offers a one-stop shop for Filipino travelers to simplify their journey. Within a single app, GCash enables users to purchase comprehensive and affordable travel insurance through GInsure and enables seamless overseas payments using the GCash card and Scan to Pay with Alipay+.

“Concerts are a once-in-a-lifetime experience and scoring tickets already takes a huge amount of effort and a significant budget,” said Wilfrido de Ocampo, general manager of GInsure. “With comprehensive travel insurance and convenient payment options available in one app, we hope we can enhance their music journey by enabling them to focus on the experience, and not on worries.”

    More Music, Less Mayhem

The influx of tourists at popular music venues and destinations can lead to challenges like jam packed flights and operational delays. GCash has partnered with trusted insurance providers Oona and Standard Insurance to protect unexpected travel expenses resulting from trip delays and cancellations, loss and damage to baggage, accidents, and illnesses.

“While securing tickets, flights, and accommodations are the top priorities, insurance might be an afterthought for some, until they run into issues and they end up regretting not having insurance to cover for all these hiccups,” said de Ocampo. “We’ve made it easy for Filipinos to purchase travel insurance in as little as 5 minutes, even 2 hours before your flight, through GInsure.”

Oona Smart Flight Delay Insurance offers instant lounge access for international flights delayed by more than 60 minutes, starting at just PHP 149. Standard Insurance Travel Protect International provides coverage for accidents, emergencies, and travel inconveniences for both domestic and international travel, starting at PHP 350.

As international artists fly to the Philippines, this is also replicated domestically, with Filipinos from all regions traveling to Metro Manila and other major cities. With premiums starting at PHP103 for local travel, Standard Insurance Travel Protect Saver Plus provides coverage for accidents, emergencies, and travel inconveniences.

“Unlike the painstaking experience of having to score a ticket for an in-demand show, purchasing insurance on GCash can be done with just a few taps” de Ocampo added.

Users can buy  their travel insurance on GCash by accessing GInsure on the GCash dashboard and tapping ‘Travel.’ They can then choose their insurance product, read through the benefits and coverage, fill in the questionnaire and traveler details, and complete the payment using their GCash account – no need for physical documents.

Going Cashless for the Concert Craze

Concertgoers also deal with payments during the day of the event and their extended vacation. Long lines at concession stands, food establishments, and merchandise booths can be frustrating, especially when fumbling for cash, particularly foreign currency.

GCash makes this seamless as travelers can use GCash’s Scan-to-Pay feature in over 10 million stores powered by Alipay+, including retail stores, food establishments, groceries and convenience stores. One can scan the QR code or generate a code for the merchant to scan and once paid, have the option to view, download, and share the receipt, which shows the amount in both the Philippine Peso and the local currency.

Even without internet access, users can use GCash to tap and pay at groceries, restaurants, retail stores, and transportation. The GCash Visa card, connected to the user’s GCash wallet, doubles as a prepaid debit card, enabling concertgoers to pay at all 100 million merchants that accept Visa in the Philippines and overseas. The GCash Visa card can also be used to withdraw money from any Visa or BancNet ATM across 200 countries and territories.

To empower travelers to be on top of their expenses, GCash shows a user’s wallet balance in the local currency of their current country. Users will also receive real-time alerts after their transactions.

“We design our services to provide budget-conscious travelers with transparency and real-time updates about their transactions. On top of that, our zero service fee and low foreign exchange rate helps ensure one’s travel budget goes directly to their experience.” noted de Ocampo.

Unforgettable concerts, no matter the destination, are a combination of thorough preparation, excitement, and a financial app that offers peace of mind. GCash aims to be every Filipino’s travel buddy, so they can forget the concert bumps and fully embrace the moment.

Ready to go on your next concert trip? Download the GCash App on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Huawei App Gallery. Kaya mo, i-GCash mo!

SMC Infrastructure tollways now with AI-enabled license plate-recognition cameras, ready for barrier-less expressways

SMC Infrastructure said it has completed fitting all its active toll gates with artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) cameras, which will pave the way for barrier-less toll plazas across its expressway network.

San Miguel Corporation (SMC) chairman and CEO Ramon S. Ang said that, in line with government directives, the company’s infrastructure arm has already installed 522 ALPR cameras at all its toll plazas and gantries across the 220-km expressway network it operates.

The special cameras are designed to further improve vehicle throughput by supporting the existing Autosweep radio frequency identification (RFID) electronic toll collection system.

“All of our toll plazas and gantries are equipped with ALPR cameras, which support our RFID antennas, which read the account information of motorists. With help from artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, our ALPR cameras cross-match motorist information from RFID tags to ensure customer data is accurate, and correct toll is debited from motorists’ Autosweep wallets,” explained Ang.

“From this point on, all our new expressway projects will include ALPR cameras in their design,” Ang said that SMC Infrastructure Autosweep team had long been working to improve the existing system.

“We credit our hardworking software engineers and developers who have continued to refine our Autosweep system. Our AI-powered Autosweep is proof that our Filipino software developers and engineers can excel anywhere, given the right opportunity and environment for them to create groundbreaking IT solutions,” Ang added.

Ang said that the ALPR cameras will serve as a backup for validation across SMC’s expressway network, as RFID antennas and tags will remain as the primary means to collect toll from motorists.

With the new system in place, each lane at toll plazas across SMC’s 220-km expressway network will have both an ALPR camera and an RFID scanner, which will start reading vehicle information some distance away.

Vehicle information will then be sent to servers where AI will cross-match the information — ensuring accuracy and enabling faster throughput.

“There are still a number of key milestones that government needs to reach before full implementation of barrier-less expressways. But essentially, in line with government mandates, we’ve made the necessary investment and our barrier-less system is already physically in place and ready to be used at any time,” Ang said.

In fact, Ang added, the entire stretch of South Luzon Expressway and the at-grade section of the Skyway System have begun initial testing of the system by implementing “barriers up” at toll plazas as early as last year.

He said this has also helped the toll operator address local government concerns about traffic congestion on roads leading to and from expressways, due to increased vehicular volume and economic activity.

“Our host LGUs had been seeking our help to reduce traffic congestion at entry points along SLEX. Through pilot-testing of the ALPR cameras, we have been able to address their concern. We’ve reduced the need for motorists to fully stop at toll plazas,” Ang said.

“Our expressway network does not operate in a vacuum. They are part of our country’s wider road network. Congestion at toll roads can affect traffic on public roads, and vice versa. That is why it’s important that we continue to work with LGUs and all stakeholders.”

Ang also expressed gratitude to the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) and the Department of Transportation (DoTR) for creating policies that pave the way for efficient travel across expressways.

“SMC remains committed to investing in our expressway network, so they can be at par with the best in the world, and with the hope that continuous upgrades and expansion will sustain our country’s economic growth,” Ang said.

Through its subsidiaries, SMC Infrastructure holds concessions to operate and maintain tollways such as the Skyway System and NAIA Expressway in Metro Manila; SLEX and STAR Tollway in the Calabarzon Region, and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) which connects Central and Northern Luzon and serves as the gateway to the Cordillera Administrative Region.

    Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 (14″, Gen 9) reviewed

Imagine a laptop that keeps pace with your creative needs. That’s exactly what Lenovo’s Yoga 7i 2-in-1 (14”, Gen 9) delivers! Powered by the Intel Evo platform, this laptop-tablet hybrid is designed for creators, handling complex tasks with remarkable ease.

    Design: 4/5

Unboxing the Lenovo Yoga 7i, I was immediately struck by its sleek Tidal Teal finish—it’s unique, modern, and truly stands out. Though at 1.49kg it’s not the lightest, the added weight adds to its robust build, which I appreciate when switching to tablet mode. Speaking of which, the 360-degree hinge is smooth and folds completely, allowing for a seamless transition between laptop and tablet use, whichever is appropriate for the task at hand.

The 14-inch OLED PureSight display with a resolution of 2800 x 1800 impressed me right away. The high pixel density means sharp and detailed visuals, and the OLED technology enhances color richness and contrast, perfect for design work. Its adaptive refresh rate, from 60Hz to 120Hz, balances performance with energy efficiency, something I noticed while switching between tasks.

Lenovo’s keyboard remains a joy to use, with well-spaced keys that are comfortable for longer typing sessions. I also liked the backlit feature for late-night work. The touchpad’s position and size are well-designed, providing enough space for comfortable typing.

The two 2W Dolby Atmos-powered speakers on the sides of the keyboard deliver surprisingly rich audio for such a compact device.

When closed, the laptop’s rounded edges provide a secure, comfortable grip. The ports are conveniently placed: a USB Type-A, microSD card reader, and power button on the right; and HDMI, two USB Type-C ports, and a headphone jack on the left.

    Hardware: 4/5

Under the hood, the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, clocking in at 1.40GHz, which has been a dream for my multitasking needs. Paired with the Intel Evo platform, the AI capabilities really enhance my workflow, prioritizing tasks and optimizing power for a long-lasting battery life. I especially enjoyed how responsive it felt when managing several creative applications simultaneously.

The Lenovo AI Engine+ is another feature I enjoyed—it adapts based on my usage patterns, so the laptop seems to get faster the more I use it. The Intel Arc Graphics card handles high-definition streaming, productivity apps, and light gaming with ease. While it’s not meant for intensive gaming, it’s more than capable for my everyday creative work.

After running Geekbench 6, I was impressed by the performance: the CPU scored 2143 for single-core and 7782 for multi-core tasks, demonstrating solid performance for my everyday and creative needs. The OpenCL score of 26,918 for graphics translates to smooth visuals and efficient rendering, which I appreciate during video editing. The 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD has been a delight as well, providing fast data transfer speeds and plenty of space for my files. Coupled with 32GB of RAM, this laptop breezes through multitasking without lag.

    User Experience: 4/5

As someone who constantly shifts between different tasks, I value a laptop that’s adaptable as my workspace. The Lenovo Yoga 7i shines here with its 2-in-1 flexibility. The 360-degree hinge makes switching to tablet mode surprisingly enjoyable, though I admit it does get heavy if held for long periods. When I place it on a desk or use it with a stylus, it’s a perfect setup for drawing and editing.

    Lenovo Yoga 7i

The Lenovo AI Engine+ and Intel Core Ultra 7 platform combine to offer smooth, responsive performance. The AI features particularly shine when editing videos—using Wondershare Filmora, I noticed how the AI helped with transitions and color adjustments, making my workflow much easier. I only wish I had full access to the software beyond the trial version. For photo editing, the AI-driven “Edit with Designer” feature in the built-in photo app, powered by Microsoft Designer, was a pleasant surprise, offering tools like background removal and auto-enhancement. Having the pro version of Microsoft Copilot would enhance this experience even more.

One drawback is the heat generated near the keyboard during heavy use, likely due to the single-fan design. As a writer, this can be uncomfortable, so I’d recommend a laptop stand to improve airflow. Interestingly, in tablet mode, the heat issue is less noticeable, making it more comfortable for drawing or casual browsing.

On the entertainment front, the Dolby Vision and Atmos pair well with the 2.8K OLED display, making it a joy to watch movies or animations. Battery life generally supports my day-to-day use, though running power-hungry applications like Luminar Neo and Discord drains it more quickly.

For gaming, I tested Valorant, and it ran smoothly. However, the cooling system does struggle during extended sessions; using a stand or external fan can help prevent overheating. While Shadow of the Tomb Raider caused some lag, the audio quality was excellent, delivering powerful and cinematic sound. Valorant, however, had lower volume, which slightly impacted the experience.

    Value: 3/5

The Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1, priced at PHP79,995, offers high-quality components and a stylish, versatile design. The 2.8K OLED PureSight display alone justifies much of the cost. Providing full access to AI-powered applications would allow users to fully leverage the advanced features without any limitation.

    What’s Not:

    • Battery life could use improvement
    • Power button placement in tablet mode can be inconvenient

    Bottomline:

The Lenovo Yoga 7i excels in visuals, design, and flexibility—ideal for creators on the go.

Signify launches Philips UltraEfficient energy-saving range as a step into a sustainable future

Signify, the global leader in lighting, has officially launched the Philips UltraEfficient Professional Range, an innovative lighting solution that sets new benchmarks in energy efficiency and sustainability. This new range achieves up to 50% energy savings compared to standard LEDs, significantly lowering energy consumption and carbon emissions while maintaining superior light quality. With a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours—three times longer than standard LEDs—these lights reduce the need for frequent replacements, cutting both costs and environmental waste.

The introduction of this product line aligns with Signify’s Green Switch initiative, launched earlier this year to accelerate the transition from conventional lighting to energy-efficient LED and connected LED solutions. This initiative is particularly relevant in the Philippines, where the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act emphasizes energy conservation as a national priority.

“With rising energy costs and increasing awareness of climate change, the government and the industry players in the Philippines are adopting sustainable practices,” said Raghuraman Chandrasekhar, country leader – professional business, Signify Philippines. “The Philips UltraEfficient range addresses these needs by offering an energy-saving solution that is both practical and impactful.

    Philips UltraEfficient

The range includes a versatile selection of products such as LED panels, downlights, recessed luminaires, and specialized solutions for outdoor and industrial use. Notable products include:

    • RoadFlair Pro UltraEfficient Street Lights
    • GreenSpace G6 UltraEfficient Downlights
    • GreenPerform Elite Highbay G2 UltraEfficient
    • UltraEfficient LED Flood Light, Panel, Strip, and Batten

Designed for professional applications across industries, the Philips UltraEfficient range offers a compelling value proposition: reduced energy costs, improved operational efficiency, and alignment with sustainability objectives.

“Our UltraEfficient range is more than a lighting solution; it is an investment in sustainable growth,” added Chandrasekhar. “It provides businesses with the tools to drive environmental stewardship while ensuring economic benefits. This launch is a testament to our commitment to creating brighter lives and a better world.”

    Philips UltraEfficient

To further enhance energy optimization, the range integrates with Signify’s Interact lighting system. This IoT-enabled technology allows users to monitor and manage lighting remotely via an intuitive smart dashboard, enabling businesses to achieve peak operational efficiency and energy savings.

Signify’s continued focus on sustainable innovation reinforces its mission to deliver transformative lighting solutions that balance environmental responsibility with business performance. The Philips UltraEfficient range exemplifies the company’s vision of a sustainable future, enabling businesses to contribute to global efforts in combating climate change.

Maximize your holiday bonus this festive season

The Christmas spirit is upon us—a season of connection, gratitude, love, and joy. It is also a time for giving, but equally important, it is an opportunity to prioritize your well-being and financial future. With year-end bonuses coming in, the temptation to splurge on gifts and celebrations is strong. However, making thoughtful decisions can help nurture both your financial and personal well-being.

Here are some practical tips to help you spend your bonus wisely:

    1. Save First, Spend Later

Start by setting aside a portion of your bonus for savings. Building an emergency fund or adding to your nest egg ensures you are prepared for life’s uncertainties while fostering peace of mind.

    2. Prioritize Your Health and Wellness

Your health is your greatest wealth. You can also use your hard-earned money to enroll in fitness programs, try new wellness therapies, or stock up on healthy food options. Remember, investing in your physical and mental well-being is a gift that keeps giving.

    3. Practice Self-Love

Amid the season’s hustle, take time to care for yourself. Pamper yourself with experiences that bring joy and relaxation, such as a spa day, a short retreat, or a new hobby. A healthy dose of self-love enhances your overall happiness and prepares you to give your best to others.

    4. Pay Off Debts

Use your bonus by clearing high-interest debts such as credit card balances or loans. Reducing financial burdens now gives you a fresh, stress-free start for the new year.

    5. Plan for Financial Growth

Channel your bonus into investments that can grow your wealth. Explore opportunities such as life insurance policies with investment components to achieve your financial goals.

    • Stocks, a high-risk, high-reward option where you can flex your investing muscle a little more.
    • Real estate where you can check if your bonus can cover downpayment for a condominium or lot.

    6. Give the Gift of Financial Security to Loved Ones

This season, consider meaningful gifts that last not only for yourself but also for your loved ones. A life insurance plan or wellness coverage can provide long-term peace of mind. It’s a thoughtful way to show how much you care by ensuring your family’s future is protected.

    7. Choose the Right Partner for your Own Financial Wellness Journey

Sun Life Grepa Financial, Inc. is here to help you maximize your bonus while prioritizing your health, wellness, and financial security. Our comprehensive insurance plans are designed to safeguard your future while enabling you to focus on what truly matters

COCONUTPhilippines: Empowering coconut farmers and entrepreneurs through the CFIDP

The Department of Trade and Industry-Bureau of Marketing and Development Promotions Office (DTI-BMDPO), in collaboration with key government agencies, proudly presents the first-ever COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair (CTF), scheduled from December 2 to 4, 2024, at Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City.

This landmark event is a vital component of the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan (CFIDP), guided by Republic Act (RA) 11524, also known as the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act. The CFIDP reaffirms the government’s dedication to supporting coconut farmers, especially the marginalized, by creating income opportunities, reducing poverty, and fostering social equity. Serving as a blueprint for sustainable development, the CFIDP emphasizes improving the coconut industry’s competitiveness, driving inclusive growth, and expanding market potential for Philippine coconut products.

A Platform for Growth and Innovation

The COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair is designed to be a premier platform for showcasing the vast potential of Philippine coconut-based products while exploring innovative industry directions. The event will gather farmers, MSMEs, institutional buyers, and key stakeholders for sourcing opportunities, order-taking, and collaborative discussions. It will also feature product launches, market testing, benchmarking, business matching, negotiations, and direct selling.

Notable highlights include the launch of the COCONUTPhilippines brand and the unveiling of the COCOMania mascots.

    Strengthening the Coconut Industry

The DTI demonstrates its commitment to the CFIDP through the implementation of research, marketing, and market promotion sub-programs. With the support of the BMDPO, the agency has successfully integrated coconut-based products through special settings in flagship trade shows such as the National Food Fair and National Trade Fair, creating opportunities for coconut farmers to connect with consumers and business partners while enhancing public awareness of these products in the domestic market.

The COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair, the first stand-alone event of its kind, was developed in partnership with the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) and 14 inter-agency stakeholders. The fair celebrates and empowers coconut farmers across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, showcasing the efforts of 90 exhibitors who will present a diverse array of food and non-food coconut products for both local and international markets.

In line with the ongoing promotional campaign, a domestic market research initiative is also underway. This initiative aims to assess demand and consumption trends for coconut-based products, particularly in the food and beverage sectors. It also seeks to provide insights into economic factors driving consumer behavior and identify growth opportunities that directly benefit program beneficiaries.

    Creating Awareness Through Collaboration

The CFIDP is a collaborative effort led by 14 government agencies, each playing a critical role in the development of the coconut industry:

    • Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA): Lead agency for program implementation.
    • Department of Agriculture (DA): Focuses on intercropping, livestock integration, and farm diversification.
    • Department of Trade and Industry (DTI): Promotes enterprises, product development, and market access.
    • Department of Science and Technology (DOST): Provides research and technology support for improved coconut varieties and innovations.
    • Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH): Enhances farm-to-market infrastructure.
    • Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA): Offers skills training for farmers and industry workers.
    • Commission on Higher Education (CHED): Supports educational programs related to coconut agriculture.
    • Cooperative Development Authority (CDA): Strengthens coconut farmer cooperatives.
    • Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP): Provides credit and financial support.
    • Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP): Finances industry projects.
    • Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC): Protects farmers with crop insurance.
    • Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech): Promotes post-harvest technologies.
    • Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI): Supports livestock integration and animal health.
    • Agricultural Training Institute (ATI): Conducts training on good agricultural practices.
